Logistics Center Operations Supervisor

The Logistics Center Operations Supervisor provides on-site operational leadership on a 24-hour basis. They are a part of the leadership team within the Logistics Center, helping to oversee all major functions within, maintain mastery-level understanding and performance of core job duties related to throughput and capacity command, serving as a real-time escalation point for the team, a trainer and expert resource for staff. They are visible throughout the day and night in all areas of the hospital, interfacing with patients, families, and department staff of all disciplines, facilitating throughput and flow navigation, acting as a clinical expeditor, overseeing and champion major flow initiatives and assisting with barriers or concerns. • Support development and execution of training plans for Logistic Center staff.

• Point-person for real-time questions and challenges identified by Logistics staff prior to escalation to Logistics Management.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
+ Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while on patrol.
+ Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
