Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Logistics Coordinator to support logistics and operations for clinical and ancillary supply services. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with transport providers to ensure timely, compliant dispatch and delivery of consignments
  • Execute shipment workflows using Oracle ERP and verify product readiness with Quality
  • Complete and maintain shipment paperwork and documentation required for customs clearance
  • Serve as a key point of contact for couriers and importers of record; maintain strong communication and ensure adherence to protocols
  • Update inventory systems and record dispatch activity for sales and purchasing transactions
  • Create commercial invoices and obtain required approvals
  • Schedule specialty carriers and oversee cold chain and temperature-sensitive shipping requirements
  • Maintain accurate shipping/receiving records and SOP compliance
  • Support additional operations and warehouse-related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 13 years of logistics coordination or administrative experience (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Oracle ERP (preferred)
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or related industries strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of cGMP, CFR, and Dangerous Goods (DG) regulations
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting SOPs and logistics workflows
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a team-oriented mindset

Experience and Qualifications:

    • Wash, clean, and dry the vehicles exterior
    • Stage and/or move vehicles to appropriate location
  • Vehicle Inspection:
    • Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check vehicle for customer or employee belongings and report to management or Lost and Found; verify registration is present, current and matches the license plate; check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect exterior of vehicle for damage; must report damage or mechanical problems to management
  • Must be willing and able to safely operate vehicles of varying sizes including, but not limited to, sedans, SUVs, trucks and vans.
  • Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and ensure cleaning, detailing, washing, and sanitization supplies are available
  • Organization of the parking lot(s) and inventory; secure vehicles and keys; responsible for inventory tracking and reconciliation; high volume lot organization with safety, efficiency, and security in mind.
  • Verify car information and VIN number for security and car control, occasional computer entry to tag vehicles as checked in.
  • Assist customers and co-workers as needed; may be responsible for assisting other Enterprise locations with vehicle movement and detailing.
  • Responsible for covering Security Booth as coverage is needed; provide all incoming and outgoing personnel with undivided attention while assisting them at the Booth.
  • Maintain the overall appearance of the worksite; inform management of safety concerns regarding lot conditions.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.

Logistics Management Specialist

Serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in an Army Reserve Brigade or equivalent sized unit.

Provide coordinated logistical guidance and policies to subordinate units regarding logistical operations.

Utilize current logistical systems to allocate and monitor funding requirements for logistical operations.

Advise on logistics status and logistical support to achieve and maintain effective operational readiness status.

Analyze maintenance policies and regulatory requirements to increase level of unit readiness.

Maintain liaison with higher headquarters, U.S. Army Reserve Command (USARC) staff, and other Army Reserve (AR) Commands to ensure effective logistical support.

This position requires active membership as a soldier in the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR).

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes:

  • Managing logistical programs to ensure full utilization of resources
  • Developing plans to integrate logistical support of operations in the areas of supply, service, maintenance, transportation, and/or food service
  • Conducting staff assistance visits and inspections to subordinate units
  • Providing reports to higher echelons of command
  • Utilizing current logistics and financial systems to monitor, input, and track supplies, equipment, and status of funds; and
  • Developing budget data to support supply, services, maintenance, transportation or food service funding requirements.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

OR Education: Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Logistics, Advanced Supply Chain Management, Business Law, and Service Management. (Note: you must attach your transcripts with your application package.)

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.). (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
