A large CPG client of Insight Global is looking for a Program Manager to come and join their Supply Chain team. This person will be responsible in providing project management leadership to help deliver innovations, improve margins, and reliable service to customers and performance excellence across the end-to-end supply chain.
Compensation:
$57.00/hr
Exact Compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. **Opportunities Available**
As a Supply Chain intern at Stryker, you may be placed in one of the following teams, where you will support projects that improve efficiency, cost, and customer service across our global operations:
+ **Purchasing** : Partner with suppliers to procure raw materials at the right quality, price, and timing. Contribute to inventory target planning throughout the product lifecycle.
+ **Business Planning** : Help schedule production to balance cost efficiency with customer demand. Support communication between Operations and Marketing regarding inventory projections.
+ **Distribution** : Support the monthly Executive Demand Review and assist with demand planning discussions. Use data analytics to improve decision-making and partner cross-functionally on Integrated Business Planning projects.
+ **Demand Planning** : Help guide revenue forecasting, align inventory with changing demand, and improve customer service levels and profitability for product lines.
+ **Product Lifecycle Management (PLCM)** : Contribute to business strategy by analyzing product portfolios, supporting lifecycle processes, and promoting cross-functional collaboration for cost efficiency and alignment.

**What You Need**

**What You'll Do.**
1. Warehousing & Storage Strategy:
· Establish a reasonable and efficient storage mechanism to ensure the effective warehousing of parts/products.
· Manage warehouse integrity and safety protocols.
2. Material Planning & Production Support:
· Plan according to the material requirements of the production line to ensure seamless supply.
· Ensure flawless introduction of new parts to production through proactive planning and cross-functional communication.
3. Distribution & Logistics Optimization:
· Determine the distribution mechanism according to the plan; optimize and improve distribution efficiency.
· Focus on warehouse delivery and cost optimization.
4. Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management:
· Oversee warehouse management, ensuring 5S standards and site identification meet requirements.
· Maintain 100% accuracy in accounts (consistency between physical and system inventory) and document management targets.
5. Customer Delivery & Satisfaction:
· Manage customer delivery processes, ensuring accurate delivery as required, and preventing external customer complaints caused by wrong delivery.
6. Data Management & System Integrity:
· Identify data gaps in SAP (e.g., missed production counts, incorrect inventory) and take prompt corrective actions.
7. Continuous Improvement:
· Develop and execute Kaizen (continuous improvement) projects to enhance material handling operations.
**You'll Have.**
· High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
· 3-5+ years of working experience in a logistics, and/or logistics planning position within a manufacturing plant.
· Ability to work any shift, as well as rotating shifts and weekends.
· 3 years of experience in new warehousing and logistics planning projects
· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, constraint management principles, logistics planning and management.
**Even Better, You'll Have.**
· Associate's degree highly preferred
· MP&L (Material Planning & Logistics) experience preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
· Familiar with ERP system background logic (SAP, MES, LES, etc.) structure.
· At least 3 years of experience in system audits (e.g., process, inventory, safety).
