Job Title: Warehouse and Logistics Senior Manager

The Warehouse and Logistics Manager (WLM) is responsible for the strategic management and oversight of all processes and people and the directing and coordinating of Receiving, Production Staging, Shipping and Warehousing activities across multiple sites. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop, maintain, and implement warehousing procedures, policies, plans, and manage all personnel activities in support of these activities across multiple sites.
  • Manage and guide the Receiving, Warehousing, and Shipping team to operate in a cohesive, streamlined process, to ensure uninterrupted supply chain and delivery results
  • Collaborate cross functionally with key stakeholders such as Sales, Client Services, Purchasing, Product Development, Manufacturing, Finance and Quality Assurance to ensure business and compliance requirements are reflected in warehouse and logistics processes.
  • Develop and implement Digital/IT tools to drive automation of processes and optimize warehouse and logistics procedures.

  • Conducts one-on-one review with all direct reports to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, to address any work-related issues and to provide insight for the improvement of their activity and performance
  • Ensure communication and embrace collaboration and integrity within the WH team.
  • This position will be fully accountable to ensure proper documentation on procedures is maintained, as well as standard operation procedures are developed, documented, and followed
  • Leads and directs the work of others and is accountable for customer service from all Warehouse personnel.
  • Ensures adequate inventory management of materials and products in accordance with inventory cycles.
  • Conducts regular inventory analysis to solve inventory problems.
  • Develops and implements inventory control procedures.
  • Accountable for maintaining WH machines, training personnel on equipment and for regular maintenance of Lifts and Vehicles.
  • Ensures that equipment safety is maintained and that employees are trained and equipped to operate safely.
  • Regularly audits WH safety standards and remedies findings.
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing cleaning programs and design layouts
  • Instructing, supervising, and checking work performed, ensuring accuracy. Correcting any problems that may arise
  • Finding ways to make the warehouse processes more efficient using Lean Ideology
  • 5S and world class organization of warehouse areas

Experience/Skills
