Logistics Coordinator

Job Type: Full Time; Non-Exempt
Shift: Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm

Hourly Rate: Starting at $17.25/hr

Who You Are:

Our Logistics Coordinators are responsible for processing inbound orders from our wholesale accounts, adjusting inventory databases and conducting inventory cycle counts, picking, packaging, and applying state compliance stickers to individual products to create a seamless order fulfillment process. This position will work in a fast-paced, team-work driven environment as we continue to expand our footprint in the cannabis wholesale market. Our Logistics Coordinators must be able to multi-task, work quickly and efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate, dynamic and professional individual to join a team of exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people.

What You Will Do:

• Assist with material counts, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records
• Works directly with the Inventory Coordinator(s) to compare inventories to office records or computes figures from records such as production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory
• In conjunction with the Inventory Coordinator(s), prepare reports such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages
• Ability to utilize BioTrack to ensure our inventory records remain compliant with state rules and regulations
• Assist with handling transfers and preparing manifests for our delivery teams
• Stocks and issues materials or merchandise
• Assists with all wholesale orders to include picking, packaging, counting, stickering, and scanning
• Demonstrates a high level of detail and accuracy in all inventory-related tasks
• Ensures accuracy in labeling and all product information
• Acts with integrity and honesty while activity promoting the culture and the values of the company
• Maintains a professional demeanor during periods of high volume or stressful situations while setting a positive example for the team
• May perform duties in cultivation as needed/required

Summary of Functions

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 3 years of material handling or logistics experience.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly JDE1.
• Working knowledge of ServiceTrade for parts order updates and job-level status tracking.

Working with the Logistics Manager, they create plans to optimize the flow and delivery of parts through their lifecycle; tracking inventory locations and movement. They work closely with Datacenter Operations Technicians to fulfill parts and equipment deliveries quickly and accurately. They will also work with Procurement teams to ensure that inbound equipment orders are complete and delivered to appropriate Data Center Locations.
They are responsible for accurate data entry and resolving questions from peer organizations. Additionally, the Logistics Specialist will ensure that all information associated with the deliveries such as inventory tracking and Ticket updates are accurate to ensure equipment is ready for processing by end user.
The ideal Logistics Specialist will dive deep into the inventory they maintain to better understand the consumption, control and accuracy surrounding the components. The Logistics Specialist will be involved in, if not responsible for or limited to, decision making involving shipping and receiving of components, load planning, loading and unloading equipment, daily equipment receiving and processing, ultimately helping us to deliver on our goals of high availability and low cost. They will also maintain up-to-date metrics dashboards and or excel spreadsheets and will create reports for internal and external customer and management as required.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities can and will include manual tasks, such as assembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for the shipment of materials, handling incoming shipments, unpack boxes and verify contents. Load and unload large equipment utilizing pallet jacks. The Logistics Specialist will be required to keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company.
Logistics Specialists are expected to understand all aspects of transportation, shipping and receiving as well as inventory control, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (i.e forklift).

Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of logistics experience, 1+ years of material forecasting experience, and 1+ year of experience in shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices.
- 1+ year of experience in transportation.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for the control and communication around field/distributor inventory both physically and systematically, through monitoring, traceability, and reconciliations. This position supports all department goals, especially those that seek to optimize field inventory levels and protect company assets while elevating the satisfaction of the customer's experience.
**How You'll Create Impact**
- Manage Inventory Systems: Use SMS, ZSIS, DCS, FedEx, and other systems to loan, receive, ship, issue, and monitor inventory.
- Resolve Inventory Discrepancies: Investigate inventory variances, collaborate with teams to identify root causes; report and disposition product recalls and brand rationalization.
- Return/Exchange Management: Facilitate the return and exchange of expired or calibrated products between warehouse and field personnel.
- Reporting & Reconciliation: Generate and review regular inventory reports, reconcile discrepancies, and manage ad-hoc reporting as needed.
- Distributor Account Support: Assist with administrative tasks and communication related to the termination of distributor inventory accounts.
- Inventory Fulfillment & Request Support: Assist with strategic inventory requests and order fulfillment, ensuring accuracy in stock levels.
- Asset Placement & Recovery: Monitor and support asset placement and recovery in collaboration with sales and operations teams. Assist with part searches between territories.
- Coordinate Loose Inventory Outflow: Manage and log outflow for loose inventory requests accurately.
- Cycle Counts: Perform cycle counts for offices and accounts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Customer Support & Order Processing: Process temporary and product kit orders, respond to requests for patient implant information, and support Customer Service with case reconciliation/stock issues.

Compile and maintain records of physical and virtual product inventories via daily activities of cycle counting, claims management and accounts administration within the facility. Manage data concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping products for/from the facility. Order shipping materials supplies and equipment to maintain inventory throughout the facility.
