The ideal candidate will have a solid background in logistics with a focus of transportation, shipping receiving and inventory control and warehousing. The Logistics Specialist will process in-stock components as well as receive and process inbound shipments and coordinate and execute daily equipment deliveries to Datacenters across the region. Also be able to drive up to 10 hours a day. You will also assist with ongoing requests to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained and distributed to all locations to support build and repair activities. Working with the Logistics Manager, they create plans to optimize the flow and delivery of parts through their lifecycle; tracking inventory locations and movement. They work closely with Datacenter Operations Technicians to fulfill parts and equipment deliveries quickly and accurately. They will also work with Procurement teams to ensure that inbound equipment orders are complete and delivered to appropriate Data Center Locations.
They are responsible for accurate data entry and resolving questions from peer organizations. Additionally, the Logistics Specialist will ensure that all information associated with the deliveries such as inventory tracking and Ticket updates are accurate to ensure equipment is ready for processing by end user.
The ideal Logistics Specialist will dive deep into and the inventory they distribute to better understand the tracking, control and accuracy surrounding the components. The Specialist will be involved in, if not responsible for or limited to, decision making involving route planning, vehicle maintenance, load planning, loading and unloading equipment daily equipment deliveries, ultimately helping us to deliver on our goals of high availability and low cost. They will also maintain up-to-date metrics dashboards and or excel spreadsheets and will create reports for internal and external customer and management as required.
Responsibilities can and will include driving long distances for long periods of time up to 10 hours a day in company vehicles such as box trucks and cargo vans, manual tasks, such as assembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for the shipment of merchandise and materials. They may also assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations. In handling incoming shipments, he or she may have to unpack boxes and verify contents. Load and unload large equipment utilizing forklifts and or pallet jacks. The Logistics Specialist will be required to keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company.
Logistics Specialists are expected to understand all aspects of Transportation, shipping and receiving as well as inventory control, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (i.e forklift or cherry picker).

**Job Description:**
**Position Summary:**
This role is responsible for the supervision of day-to-day inventory control activities. Oversee and ensure compliance with the inventory policy and process, ensure accurate and timely reporting, record retention, and directs hourly Associates. Partners with distribution management to recommend process improvement. Partners cross-functionally to ensure inventory integrity and process improvement.
**Here's what you'll do:**
+ Develop and/or maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional departments as necessary to coordinate inventory management activities and to ensure prompt and timely resolution of any issues.
+ Schedule and assign work to inventory control associates to complete workload in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining accuracy, and safe work environment; plan and schedule activities to control costs on labor and supplies.
+ Review inventory gain/loss line and salvage line and research items of high cost/quantity variance.
+ Participate in the review of warehouse layout, item slotting for effectiveness, execution and operational efficiency.
+ Oversee the recording and product movement for salvage sales and return to vendor transactions and ensure product recoup efforts are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
+ Ensure compliance with internal, external and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) audit requirements.
+ Oversee selection audit activity and reporting.
+ Ensure safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment. Report and/or address any issues or work-related injuries.
+ Coordinate and lead pre-shift meetings and ensure timely communication with associates on various topics.
+ Responsible for department management including staffing, training, performance management and career development of associates, and developing and achieving department goals.
+ Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
+ Understand financial impact of inventory results for each business unit
**Here's what you'll need:**
+ High School Diploma (Required) or GED.
+ Three years warehouse distribution experience to include one year of Inventory Control experience.
+ One year of supervisory experience.
+ Good written and verbal communication skills.
+ Good organization, prioritization, problem-solving, decision-making, analytical and business acumen skills.
+ Must be able to multi-task and have good follow-through to meet deadlines.
+ Must have good leadership and training skills; ability to work with all levels of management and line associates.
+ Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs.
+ Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word).
+ Knowledge of warehouse management systems and database management tools (i.e., COGNOS, WMS/EXE, billing system, etc.) helpful.

The Logistics Coordinator provides overall direction throughout the Dedicated Fleet operation and provides operational assistance to the Project Manager wherever needed.
1st/2nd Shift Available ; 12:00pm to 6:00pm Wednesday . 6:00am to 6:00pm Thursday-Saturday.
Responsibilities:- Maintains positive and encouraging working relations with all drivers
- Provides constant communications of service issues to appropriate personnel and departments, both internal (NFI) and external (Customer)
- Performs load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch duties using both Dedicated Fleet and Common Carrier resources.
- Coordinates daily data entry into NFIs proprietary order-management-system, TMW.
- Coordinates with home-office invoicing team to ensure timely and accurate completion of weekly customer invoices
- Ensures accurate and timely completion of daily and weekly tasks
- Provides weekly KPI/performance data reports to both internal and external parties
- Coordinates daily on scheduling truck and trailer maintenance.
- Works with safety department on DriveCam, driver compliance and HOS issues
- Assists Project Manager with implementing NFIs Safety, Security and Labor policies
- Assists and provides coverage throughout departments during vacations, holidays if necessary
- Manages and maintains driver payroll
- Audits and approves driver expense reports
- Provides assistance to Project Manager wherever needed
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in logistics and/or transportation
- Computer applications experience including MS Office and TMW strongly desired
- Excellent customer service, problem solving, communication and decision making skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and multitask
- Ability and availability to work extended hours if necessary
