The goal of the Logistics Department at Designers Choice LLC is to drive improvement in companywide strategies, analytics, methodologies, and systems to create a competitive advantage and optimize the use of the company’s resources. Main Role and Responsibilities Create load reports and work with trucking carriers to coordinate the shipments to Boston, Pennsylvania and other facilities within the Flower Network. Work with the importer logistics team to ensure all third-party vendors have delivered their product and to help resolve any discrepancies. Monitor incoming flight report for potential delays and make changes to the outbound plan if necessary. Track and communicate the status of the shipments to the receiving team and any changes to the outbound Miami schedule to the respective stakeholders. Make weekly projections of the shipments to Boston and Pennsylvania to better optimize the truck space. Input data into KPI file, generate report and send to respective stakeholders. Consolidate third-party shipment information to be invoiced and send monthly reports to accounts receivable. Take ownership of the Queens Flowers inventory and use it according to our needs. Ensure all inventory is distributed using the FIFO method. Job Description

A client is looking for Logistics Managers with acquisition support experience to support an large program at Hanscom AFB. This resource will be reporting directly to a Program Manager and they will be responsible for the direction of a large, complex programs, which may involve a single or several customer locations. This resource will direct the efforts of a substantial number of administrative and professional support staff in carrying out the tasks necessary to meet program milestones. They must have demonstrated capabilities for oral and written communications with all levels of staff and management. They should have in-depth knowledge of the areas for which responsibility is given and be able to identify and mitigate risks to the program. This resource will assist customer and contractor personnel to develop and review program plans, deliverable status, milestone schedules, assignments, costs, etc. They will also ensures conformance with schedules and costs and advise the Government on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) as it conforms to the primary objectives for AFSO21

Compensation:

$50/hr to $65/hr

• Ensure customer service excellence and manage customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Identify the specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program; and correlating those requirements with program plans to assure that the needed support is provided at the right time and place.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use handheld scanning equipment to log vehicle locations and troubleshoot inventory location
• Accurately receive, organize, locate, and stage inventory vehicles on-lot consistent with processing and safety standards
