The Logistics Coordinator is a key contributor to the distribution center's operations, serving as the main contact for transportation, deployment, and security. This role ensures the smooth flow of loads in and out of the facility by monitoring truck movements from the RSO to the dock and communicating load status to stakeholders. The coordinator is responsible for reconciling detention requests in a timely manner and collaborating with the team to resolve claims. They track the site's on-time readiness and coordinate line-to-truck orders with carriers, aligning with the production schedule. Additional duties include creating STO loads, maintaining shipment dates, and providing backup support to the Shift Operational Supervisor. This includes managing labor plans, operational adjustments, and end-of-shift reporting.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Print unload, load and pick documents
+ Seal investigation
+ Dock Door management
+ Detention Reconciliation
+ Communication with transportation and deployment
+ Maintaining unload discrepancies
+ Handling returned process
+ Back up to the workflow flow coordinators
+ Perform backup duties for Shift Operational supervisor, including shift labor plan, shift labor adjustment, operational adjustments and end of shift reporting
+ Coordination with Material Handling Resources when covering for Supervisor
**REQUIREMENTS AND EDUCATION LEVEL:**
+ Associate's degree preferred but not required
**EXPERIENCE:**
+ Two years of experience in a material handling environment is desired.
+ The individual should be able to exercise sound judgment, be able to organize and prioritize tasks in order to meet daily requirements and deadlines.
+ Have excellent oral and written communications skills, take the initiative and be flexible and cooperative.
+ The individual should also be accurate, timely, and have the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
+ Working knowledge of EMS, EWM and PINC

Job Description
Keeping the back of house in order is a key factor in successful mission planning. As an Automated Logistical Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will maximize your organizational skills and learn the ins and outs of supply chain management. From storage and distribution to warehouse management, your primary responsibility will be to supervise and perform specific functions in order to maintain equipment records and parts.
Major duties include: establishing and maintaining records (stock lists, inventory, material control, etc.), maintaining stock locator system and administering document control procedures, processing requests and turn-in documents, performing prescribed load-list and shop-stock list duties in manual and automated supply applications, and operating material-handling equipment.

• Simplify and standardize the collection and use of maintenance data
• Raise the quality and accuracy of performance, cost, and parts data through improved maintenance management

Automated Logistical Specialist job training requires 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you'll learn basic Soldiering skills, and 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT), which includes practice in handling and storing stock. Part of this time is spent in the classroom and part in the field.
