Job Description
Lead Logistician is responsible for the program's Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), the primary program management reference governing operations and support planning and execution from program inception to disposal.
Responsibilities
- Duties include development of Logistics Acquisition and DMSMS plans and documents.
- Also have the ability to evaluate available resources and recommend funding requirements and plans to ensure logistics and program support for the Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center's Air Delivered Directorate (AFNWC/NDW) WS3 Program subsystems.
- The applicant will provide logistics services to support WS3 equipment deployed worldwide. Specific expertise is required to expedite hardware through the repair process and the defense supply systems to reach end users. In addition to deliverable reports, support personnel is required to input data to Government produced reports, data systems, and briefings as requested.
- The position requires at least five years of combined industry and federal government experience in DOD weapon system logistics/sustainment/product support or a Bachelor of Science or Business Administration degree from an accredited college/university is required.
- Must be intimately familiar with writing the LCSP to ensure it encapsulates all covered systems and details the system's product support planning and sustainment, pursuant to Title 10 USC 2337.
- DMSMS is a significant concern, particularly in industries like aerospace and defense where products have long lifecycles and require consistent access to specific components.
- Must have experience or the ability to perform the following obsolescence functions: Identification and Monitoring, Component Lifecycle Tracking, Predictive Analysis, Bill of Materials (BOM) Analysis, Alerting and Reporting, Impact Assessment, and develop Mitigation Strategies.
- Logistician must develop and implement new DMSMS Management Plan on existing programs in sustainment already.
- Additionally, will be responsible for overseeing all packaging, handling, shipping, storage and transportation needs and requirements to support worldwide test and evaluation operations.
- The applicant will have experience tracking inventory, providing status reports, and logistics plans to support and ensure the distribution and delivery commitments for manufacturing or servicing of products, equipment, and systems.
- Applicant should be proficient in the use of standard M/S office applications.
- Excellent verbal communication, written, and quantitative analytical skills are required.
- Must be knowledgeable of DoD 5000.2 (Operation of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework), DOD's integrated product support element structure, and the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook.
- Desired Certifications: APDP (Life Cycle Logistics (LCL))
- Applicant must have experience in DoD weapon system logistics/sustainment and acquisition of weapon systems.
- Additional Requirements: Applicant must have U.S. citizenship, have an active passport, and have at least a Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain DoD Top Secret security clearance. Applicant may be required to travel CONUS/OCONUS for a few weeks at a time.

The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Test Site Manager at Kirtland Air Base as part of our Counter-WMD Weapons and Capabilities Systems Engineering and Integration Team, supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Primary responsibilities include management and maintenance of testing facilities at WSMR. Specific duties include the following:
+ Provide logistics support by forecasting usage rates; establishing initial repair and replacement cost factors; determining test support requirements from customer test objectives; interpreting and evaluating maintenance requirements and operational capabilities of test support construction equipment.
+ Assist the Permanent High Explosives Test Site (PHETS) Test Site manager in monitoring and coordinating the execution of assigned test support construction equipment to test programs conducted at WSMR.
+ Assist the PHETS Test Site Manager in managing the asset hand receipt (HR3011), vehicle inventory (HR6551), warehouse inventory (PHETS stand-alone) and account for all test material and supplies required to support the test programs.
+ Provide technical and management expertise and coordinate test support requirements with PHETS Test Site Program Manager and test teams to ensure all test activities are fully and effectively supported.
+ Assist the PHETS Test Site Program Manager in maintaining daily accountability of all personnel working at WSMR and designing, preparing and implementing the standard operating procedures (SOPs) covering normal and emergency procedures for PHETS support operations.
+ Assist the PHETS Test Site Program Manager in managing the PHETS Construction & Demolition Landfill and understand applicable environmental and safety regulations to maintain compliance with all environmental and safety requirements.
**Required Skills, Experience, Education, and Clearance:**
+ Bachelor's degree 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
+ WSMR Satellite Accumulation Point (SAP) training (provided annually by WSMR at no cost).
+ Forklift Certification up to 40K.
+ Manlift 35'-60' training.
+ NM Landfill Operator Certification (every 3 years).
+ Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
**Preferred qualifications include the following:**
+ Prior support to DTRA RD-TS or RD-CXW.

Summary:
The BH Resource Coordinator is responsible for facilitating patient transitions to inpatient behavioral health beds by verifying accurate insurance information ,securing insurance precertification(s) utilizing a strong understanding of criteria for inpatient care, and when necessary doing bed searches to other facilities both within and outside the network to promote timely access to appropriate level of care. This person utilizes strong interpersonal and communication skills to assist in bed management activities as needed, is highly knowledgeable of network entity capabilities and can navigate bed management for uncomplicated bed placement needs.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as a resource with expertise in managed care , stays updated in current practices and keeps colleagues informed of same.
- Acts as expert in Epic registrations, auth cert., etc and acts as resource for staff as needed.
- Ensures that criteria is met for inpatient level of care upon obtaining authorization
- Thoroughly documents insurance information in Epic, including all details of auth cert.
- Understands bed placement priorities as set by standard work
- Maintains positive collaborative relationships with sending and receiving entities and professionals
- Performs bed searches as directed, prioritizing in network facilities.
- Document patients placed outside network and reasons for same.
- Perform routine bed placement and registration when not busy with above activities
- Consults with RN before placing patient
- Negotiates single case agreements as necessary
- Maintains H3W leadership behaviors and is accountable for all interactions
- Models customer service standards and demonstrates value for all people in the work environment
Education: Masters Degree in Social Work required.
Licensure, Certification, Registration: Current CT LCSW license required.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years experience in behavioral health field. Understanding of levels of care criteria, diagnostic nuances, and inpatient milieu concerns strongly preferred. Ability to navigate managed care systems in obtaining accurate BH insurance information.
