Maximus is currently hiring for Veteran Liaison Logistics Coordinators to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This is a remote opportunity. The Veteran Liaison Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with transportation vendors to process veteran transportation requests and is the point of contact for incoming calls & e-mails concerning transportation requests.

- Due to contract requirements, only US Citizen or a Green Card holder can be considered for this opportunity.

- For positions on this contract, Maximus will pay the prevailing wage rate for the location in which the employee is working, as determined by the Department of Labor. That wage rate will vary depending on locality. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Point of contact for incoming calls and e-mail inquiries for all transportation requests.
- Coordinate with contracted and non-contracted transportation vendors to process domestic Veteran transportation requests.
- Initiate and submit SMOT requests for transportation to VA for approval per VES protocol and VA guidelines.
- Maintain and update various Excel spreadsheets of Logistics Department statistical data daily.
- Perform all general administrative duties as assigned.

Please note upon hire, Veteran Evaluation Services (VES), a Maximus Co. will provide all necessary computer equipment that is to be utilized to fulfil the duties of your role. New hires will not be exempt from using company provided equipment.

Minimum Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED required.

- 1 year or more of VES (Veterans Evaluation Services) team experience highly preferred.

- Previous US military experience preferred.

- Basic computer knowledge on a Desktop or Laptop PC (personal computer) preferred.

- Intermediate level knowledge or greater of Microsoft Excel preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY: Monday - Thursday, 6 am - 4:30 pm

The Line Loader and Unloader organizes, sorts, and prioritizes core material, ensuring that the product is processed within the Customer’s specified time for the warehouse. The Line Loader and Unloader is also responsible for coordinating the disposal or re-use of the packaging that accumulates throughout the loading and unloading process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Personal Protective Equipment(PPE), preventing incidents or injury to self or others
  • Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
  • Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from staging and processing areas using a forklift and/or pallet jack in the warehouse
  • Loads materials on and off inspection lines while periodically using a hoist
  • Determine the placement of material based on labels or other markings
  • Other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed mostly in an uncontrolled warehouse atmosphere with exposure to conditions such as: dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures. This employee must demonstrate continued knowledge of Haz/Com regulations and requirements. All employees are must follow safety standards and wear all

personal protective equipment in designated areas.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch and talk and hear. Standing 90%, Walking/sitting 10%. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly is required.
