Duties and Responsibilities
    • Shipping and Receiving
      • Setting up shipments in SAP, Coordinating Trucks
      • Completing Receipts in SAP
      • Loading and unloading trucks
      • Processing and delivery of parcel
    • Production Support
      • Material pulling and staging for trial production
      • Transacting material consumptions and moves in SAP
      • Returning materials to inventory and physical put-away
    • Management and Execution of the Corporate Product Sampling
      • Quick turnaround and execution on hand sample requests, with prompt, professional response
      • Coordination with plants to get materials in when sample supplies are getting low.
      • Coordination of/execution on getting materials cut, labeled and ready to send.
      • Good communication and coordination with our sales team
    • Inventory Control
      • Completion of weekly cycle count requirements
      • Active management of aged inventory/recycling
      • Coordination of raw material recycling
    • Production Support
      • Production support on key trials as needed.

In accordance with corporate policies and procedures, as a member of the Branch Office Team, perform inventory management functions of a remote warehouse. Inventory management includes the ordering of merchandise to achieve required fill rates and corporate stock turn goals while taking advantage of all possible price reductions and discount terms to maximize Branch profitability.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Manage inventory to ensure that required fill rates and stock turn goals are met. Review stock assortments to ensure that demand justifies items stocked.
+ Perform all tasks associated with the creation of manufacturer purchase orders.
+ Review and use offered manufacturer voluntary price reductions and quantity discounts to achieve maximum profitability.
+ Communicate with Business Managers and Field Sales Associates regarding product lines that have availability issues.
+ Validate receipt documents from the Distribution Center with outstanding purchase orders to ensure that merchandise received matches that which was ordered. Process receipts into the Branch Order Processing and Inventory Control System (BOPICS). Notify the Accounting Department and the manufacturer of any receiving discrepancies.
+ Take necessary action to minimize out of stock conditions, slow movers, discontinued items and short shelf-life items.
+ Work with the Distribution Center Manager to assure proper rotation of merchandise to obtain maximum shelf life and prevent outdated stock.
+ Consult with Business Managers and return to manufacturer all inventory items that are slow movers, overstocks, deleted items or short dated inventory.
+ Review and monitor battlegroup and large ship deployments with local Sales Associates. Take the necessary procurement action to support the anticipated load outs.
+ Process all Export orders to ensure the merchandise is ordered and received within the required time frame to achieve a 100% fill factor.
+ Review and monitory promotional customer orders to ensure that product is ordered and received within the required time frame to support the customers' sale dates.
+ Maintain a file of all outstanding purchase orders placed with manufacturers. Follow up with manufacturers on all outstanding and overdue purchase orders.
+ Review daily EDI transmission logs.
+ Validate receipt documents from the Distribution Center with outstanding purchase orders to ensure that merchandise received matches that which was ordered. Process receipts into the Branch Order Processing Inventory Control System. Notify the Accounting Department and the manufacturer of any receiving discrepancies.
+ Review inventory reports and report out of stocks, slow movers, discontinued items and short shelf-life items to the Assistant Branch Manager. Produce and distribute applicable periodic inventory reports.
+ Maintain necessary files and records; prepare and process correspondence; and answer telephone inquiries.
+ Maintain cleanliness of the Branch Office, equipment and surrounding area.
+ Conduct all functions in a safe working manner.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Minimum Education and Work Experience
+ High School diploma or equivalent in industry name required.
+ 3 years purchasing/contracting experience required.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Inventory Clerk reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and is based out of our Seabrook, New Jersey location. This individual will be responsible for shipping transactions in the QAD system.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of the job)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required Qualifications

Position Summary:

Primary Duties:

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

  2. Requires a minimum of three years progressively responsible experience in logistics management, with proven ability to lead and/or assist with projects.
  3. Must have working knowledge of GDP, ISO, CGMP and MRP manufacturing principles.
  4. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including verbal and written skills.
  5. Must have strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Package.

Position Summary:

The Transportation Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing transportation activities.

Tasks include managing logistics, tracking shipments, maintaining compliance with regulations, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Daily tracking of inbound/outbound shipments and communicate issues where applicable; Reports and communicates in transit issues that effect on-time delivery.
  • Communicates with freight forwarders to obtain rate quotes and tracks/traces shipments.
  • Ensures customer delivery dates are met.
  • Assists with transportation from vendors to ensure a timely and accurate delivery.
  • Works with approved carriers/forwarders to request, review and approve transportation quotes for individual domestic and international shipments.
  • Provides support as assigned for internal/external client calls or emails received and manage to resolution.
  • Acts as liaison between B Braun Distribution Centers and Transportation Carriers.
  • Monitors carrier competitiveness and performance.
  • Ensures that export processes are following company and industry standards/requirements.
  • Files freight claims with Transportation Provider(s) and manages the closure of the claim.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve service and reduce cost. Develops plans to pursue and present to leadership.
  • Participates in cross-functional business process improvement activities as required.
  • Interacts with the appointed Customs Broker as necessary and/or daily by providing information to ensure accurate and timely import entry.
  • Formulates and implements transportation strategies, policies and programs.
  • Measures the effectiveness of the transportation network, products, and services.
  • Audits Customs Import entries, related documents, and financial records for accuracy.
  • Generates reports, presentations, and perform detailed analysis for compliance monitoring as well as reports on cost information, savings, productivity, etc.

**POSITION SUMMARY:** A Logistics Analyst is responsible for the coordination and oversight of drivers, trucks, and containers to create capacity, maximize productivity and ensure prompt, courteous and efficient service to all customers. Additional responsibilities include the oversight of safety, customer experience, and productivity.
**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Ensure compliance with all required safety policies and procedures.
+ Analyze daily route information and implement changes to daily routing to ensure efficient, proactive, and immediate improvements to route standardization, efficiency and accuracy using the internal routing platform.
+ Use routing system visibility and flexibility to analyze and respond to same day changes or next day planning for the service needs of our customers to ensure on-route efficiencies and improve route design by identifying patterns and improvement areas.
+ Ensure all routes are closed on time by verifying the data for accuracy and making the close route process durable.
+ Quickly and proactively evaluate and resolve problems that may arise while trucks and drivers are in transit.
+ Proactively manage driver safety and security of Company assets and provide direction to drivers.
+ Collect, interpret, and analyze various types of logistics data including inventory, asset reliability, and other route data to make decisions that increase overall routing accuracy.
+ Be in constant communication with drivers to evaluate route progress and make sure they have all necessary information.
+ Evaluate and escalate driver performance issues or concerns for resolution.
+ Understand route sequencing to drive efficiency.
+ Respond to missed pickups and service commitments by scheduling customers accordingly.
+ Evaluate and educate drivers regarding missed pickups and develop strategies to avoid any future missed pickup failures.
+ Create routes with maximized capacity and review loads per driver per day goals to maximize profitability.
+ Monitor daily routing activities and resolve issues to ensure pickup and delivery is on time. Evaluate and assess need for swing routes and verify all swing opportunities have been identified.
+ Analyze trends in swing percentage to identify improvement opportunities.
+ Ability to expect the unexpected and monitor and adjust today and tomorrow's plans throughout the day.
+ Understand daily disposal plans to help identify optimal disposal sites for each load to hold drivers accountable to adhering to the assigned disposal sites.
+ Meet to discuss disposal plans and recommendations with the Operations Manager and make updates if any intercompany or 3rd party changes occur.
+ Determine if service requests can be pulled forward to drive efficiency while also providing the best experience for our customers.
+ Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
**CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE:**
+ Courteously interact with customers, as required.
+ Route design is the first defense against customer service issues, and non-compliance from both hours of service and weight compliance standpoint. Routes must be set up in a way that allows drivers to be safe, successful, and efficient.
+ Analyze and prioritize the promises that we make to customers to ensure that these customers are serviced, and our promises are kept.
+ Call Center communication must be updated daily. Continual assessments and communications are required to reduce missed pickups and improve the communication channel between the division and the customers.
+ Evaluate route issues that may cause delays and utilize the tools available to communicate to the impacted customers.
+ Continually review routing media to process service exceptions/general messages/extra services information in order to meet the customer's needs.
+ Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by adhering to and executing our universal service commitments.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
+ Skillful with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
+ Ability to understand and execute time-sensitive tasks.
+ Experience in a customer-facing position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use handheld scanning equipment to log vehicle locations and troubleshoot inventory location
  • Accurately receive, organize, locate, and stage inventory vehicles on-lot consistent with processing and safety standards

Qualifications
