What You'll Do-
Lead Process Development: Drive manufacturability assessments of new designs, guiding them from concept through to first production runs.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Process, or Mechanical Engineering preferred; Associate degree with strong experience considered.

Experience: 310 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering roles.

Process Knowledge: Strong background in BOMs, routings, time/motion studies, and standard setting.

Systems Expertise: Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems and production planning tools.

Quality Focus: Experience implementing QA programs and using precision instruments for calibration and sampling.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Analyze, evaluate, plan, specify, and develop manufacturing processes for machining and assembly areas using initiative, imagination, and judgment. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Observe machines and equipment for malfunction and works in tandem with the safety , production, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues
+ Carry out process improvement, problem resolution, Capital project management, and employee training for multiple projects with a varying range of complexity
+ Develop and improve manufacturing processes and methods for safety, cost, quality and efficiency improvement

+ Prepare detailed layouts of buildings and equipment
+ Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised manufactured parts and equipment
+ Recommend and implement new approaches, tools, and techniques that drive continuous improvement in pump manufacturing processes
+ Cost justify tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods
+ Perform process analysis for safety and ergonomic improvement, cost reduction, quality improvements, and improved efficiencies
+ Maintain detailed knowledge of conventional and NC/CNC manufacturing equipment and time standards techniques, and observe work in these areas as needed
+ Assist on S.P.C. projects to provide product or process feasibility and complete various assigned capital research and development programs
+ Represents the Value Stream on cross-functional teams
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or similar and 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment using Continuous Improvement and Lean principles.
+ In absence of a bachelor's degree, an associates degree or technical certificate and ten years of related engineering and manufacturing experience.
+ CAM experience preferred
OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
+ This position requires compliance with ITAR work authorization regulations.
+ Requires the ability to manage multiple projects in a systematic and orderly manner.
WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:
+ Ability to move within office and manufacturing complex, write by hand and keyboard, and perform general office functions.
+ Ability to communicate by speech and hearing via phone and in person.
+ Visual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use.

Job Summary
The MIG Welder will join, fabricate, and repair steel parts by using specialized gas metal arc welding techniques and equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques.
+ Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
+ Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness.
+ Familiar with and complies with all safety requirements and protocols.
+ May prepare the materials and set up for a welding device or robot.
+ May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in an area of specialty.
+ Support the safety and quality programs by following all accompanying rules and established processes.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Shifts This is a 2nd shift position, training will take place on 1st shift for 4-8 weeks. There is a $1.50/shift premium, this starts while training on 1st shift.
2nd shift hours are Monday thru Thursday 3:30pm to 2:00am.
Overtime is posted the Wednesday prior to the week it is worked.
Skills and Qualifications
+ Ability to operate forklift and crane.
+ Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints.
+ Ability to use a variety of hand tools such as hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, drill, grinder and bander.
+ Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measure, box caliper, slide dial caliper and micrometer.
+ Ability to convert fractions to decimals and vice versa.
+ Ability to convert metric to english and vice versa.
+ Provide high quality work to all internal and external customers as related to the output of their position.
+ Capable of setting up and operating one or more processing machines.
+ Speak, write and comprehend conversational English.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
+ Must pass a MIG Welder certification.

Physical Requirements
+ Ability to lift 20-50 lbs. repetitively throughout the course of a shift.
+ Ability to bend, sit, stand, twist and stoop for long periods of time.
+ Ability to walk 205 miles throughout the course of a shift.
+ Have good vision of 20/30 with corrective lenses.
+ Ability to maintain coordination of hand and finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects with precision.
