As a Market Analyst, you will join a team that is critical to the success of the company by managing the daily cleared products settlement pricing and product listings on the ICE trading platform. This role is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining processes to analyze historical and top-day pricing data to generate daily closing prices for Futures and Option products.

Responsibilities

• Analyze pricing data to identify trends and relationships to reflect fair valuations across ICE asset markets including Energy, Interest Rates, Agriculture, Equity Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, FX, Physical Environmental.
• Generate daily closing prices for cleared forward and option contracts.
• Handle ongoing support and maintenance for existing ICE products.
• Work directly with Sales, Development, QA and Operations.
• Produce periodic reports, document and update internal procedures, and assist with special projects as required.
• Provide front-line customer service support related to cleared product pricing.
• Responsible for reviewing daily reports covering settlement exit criteria thresholds, price fidelity, and fixing reports.

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business or relevant financial degree; combination of applicable training and/or experience in lieu of degree
• 3+ years of work experience in an analytical role
• Strong working knowledge of Excel; Visual Basic or other analytical applications is preferred

Job Summary

The Analyst is responsible to perform research, data analysis and modeling about Entergy's (ETR) electric utility load, industries and customers, and commercial and business environment, which may have key implications for ETR's long-term growth. This role supports projects, initiatives, or efforts by analyzing customer's usage data, industrial and economic trends, supply and demand, business environment, and evaluating possible scenarios, and performing commercial analysis. The work scope also includes research and analysis to develop commercial and business assumptions for various growth initiatives and innovation efforts.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Research and analysis in utility load segments, industry outlooks, and develop data analysis and modeling framework in these areas. Research and analysis may include:

• Industrial/commercial load categories (e.g., Refining, steel, petrochems, etc.)

• Analyzing the businesses economic drivers: supply & demand; price setting mechanisms, etc.

• Utility regional economics - regional and state drivers

• General trends, macroeconomic effects on utility businesses and customers

• Commercial and business assumptions relevant to our and customer's businesses

• Monitor and maintain the integrity and validity of data

• Design, build and maintain reports and data dashboards to derive insights from data

Research key trends in commercial and business environment in our region and develop understanding of key assumptions that may drive innovative products and services for ETR's utility customers.

The Power Market Analyst role is part of our forecasting team and reports to the Director of Forecasts. • Contribute pre- and post-launch analysis of major new bond issues utilizing timely and accurate market talk on rumored supply, price talk, book build and reception, gathered by self and colleagues.
• Calculation and verification of key relative value measures which our audience rely on to help gauge market conditions.
• Develop and maintain deep contacts with key industry players that help shape our coverage of the USdebt markets.
• Regular production of differentiated content and data derived reports which highlight key industry trends and shifts in supply and demand dynamics.
• Contribute to, and support new marketing initiatives as required, including webinars and production of relevant video content.
