POSITION OBJECTIVE

Continuously work to improve competence in pricing functions, drive change management and improvement activities supporting price performance and sustainable profitability growth. Identify and act on opportunities to improve pricing to capture business potential in local markets. Bridge business requirements between central and local pricing functions to secure compliance. Market Analyst Essential Responsibilities:

Job Purpose

  • Generate daily closing prices for cleared forward and option contracts.
  • Handle ongoing support and maintenance for existing ICE products.
  • Work directly with Sales, Development, QA and Operations.
  • Produce periodic reports, document and update internal procedures, and assist with special projects as required.
  • Provide front-line customer service support related to cleared product pricing.
  • Responsible for reviewing daily reports covering settlement exit criteria thresholds, price fidelity, and fixing reports.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business or relevant financial degree; combination of applicable training and/or experience in lieu of degree
  • 3+ years of work experience in an analytical role
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel; Visual Basic or other analytical applications is preferred
  • Experience in working with large Excel spreadsheets

Job Purpose

As a Market Analyst, you will join a team that is critical to the success of the company by managing the daily cleared products settlement pricing and product listings on the ICE trading platform. This role is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining processes to analyze historical and top-day pricing data to generate daily closing prices for Futures and Option products.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze pricing data to identify trends and relationships to reflect fair valuations across ICE asset markets including Energy, Interest Rates, Agriculture, Equity Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, FX, Physical Environmental.
  • Generate daily closing prices for cleared forward and option contracts.
  • Handle ongoing support and maintenance for existing ICE products.
  • Work directly with Sales, Development, QA and Operations.
  • Produce periodic reports, document and update internal procedures, and assist with special projects as required.
  • Provide front-line customer service support related to cleared product pricing.
  • Responsible for reviewing daily reports covering settlement exit criteria thresholds, price fidelity, and fixing reports.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business or relevant financial degree; combination of applicable training and/or experience in lieu of degree
  • 3+ years of work experience in an analytical role
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel; Visual Basic or other analytical applications is preferred
  • Experience in working with large Excel spreadsheets
  • Exposure to commodity markets or financial trading environment background is preferred
