POSITION SUMMARY:
The Market Analyst supports Transactions and Business Development teams by providing research on tracked aircraft markets, keeping online aircraft market system current while communicating with members of the brokerage community. Other support will include providing market data to inquiring brokers, assistance gathering information and assisting in developing marketing specifications, presentations, report creation, and client interaction.
This is an in-office position located in Frisco, TX.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:
- Undergraduate degree in aviation management, aviation flight, business, finance or economics, a plus.
- 3+ years corporate aviation experience with a concentration on Aircraft Market Research or brokerage knowledge, a plus.
- 2+ years Aviation Sales, Operations Management, Aviation Lending, and Client Relationship Management of both large corporations and high net worth individuals, a plus.
- Past experience in customer-focused role of listening/understanding/servicing customer needs, a plus.
- In-depth knowledge / experience reading and interpreting aircraft specifications.

Job Summary

The Role
The Power Market Analyst role is part of our forecasting team and reports to the Director of Forecasts. The forecasts team's primary objective is to deliver Modo Energy's power market forecasts to our users as we build trustworthy revenue projections across multiple geographies and asset classes. These tools are used by organizations across the industry to finance, build, benchmark, and operate the infrastructure assets that will power the energy transition.
You will work closely with the data scientists in the team to analyze data and craft the narrative that ultimately determines our view on the future.

This role is central to understanding nodal pricing, transmission congestion, and energy storage economics—providing insights that guide project siting, commercial strategy, and asset optimization across the CCR portfolio. What You’ll Do You will focus on developing forward-looking congestion and price forecasts, modeling energy storage revenues, and building analytics to optimize CCR’s operational and development fleet.
