Responsibilities
  • Provide client utilization, experience, and financial reporting
  • Analyze funding arrangements (fully insured, self-insured, and level-funded)
  • Administer marketing and renewal functions (e.g., requests for proposal)
  • Finalize client presentations with Account Manager and Consultant/Sales Executive
  • Prepare renewal reports
  • Participate in meetings, industry seminars, and training programs
  • Assist with benchmarking and trend analysis
  • Gather information and provide analysis/recommendations on clients' existing coverage
  • Negotiate with incumbent and bidding carriers to secure competitive rates and products
  • Use agency management systems and technology tools
  • Stay current on industry trends, product development, legislation, and enrollment tech (e.g., carrier and payroll vendor systems)
  • Serve as a liaison between consultants/sales executives, account management, and insurance carriers
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with carriers

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar position (strong candidates with alternate backgrounds may be considered)
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze claims data, compare quotes, and make accurate, decisive evaluations
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Highly reliable and dependable
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills
  • Life & Health Insurance License required, or must be obtained upon employment

Additional Information

This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.

What you'll do

The Brex Marketing team is looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Analyst to own, analyze and translate our data into effective insights and actionable recommendations. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience with Marketing channel and campaign data, planning, modeling and forecasting. This person should also be seasoned with digital performance metrics, website analytics, building marketing funnels and ABM models. The Senior Marketing Analyst will report into the Campaigns, Growth & Operations team, but will also partner with multiple marketing functions and channel owners to provide support with strategic analysis, forecasting, and insights for planning and performance optimization.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $134,696 - $168,370.
