This is a 100% traveling role that involves visiting various locations such as Phoenix, Miami, Vegas, Dallas, Denver, Ohio, Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and potentially other locations. You will initially travel for 2-3 months, living out of a suitcase. Following this period, the role may transition to a Field Technical Specialist position with 50% travel and remote technical support responsibilities.
Responsibilities
+ Upgrade vehicles across the US, each upgrade taking approximately 8 hours per car.
+ Perform software upgrades using company laptops.
+ Change parts, trim pieces, seats, and tires for seasonal requirements.
+ Conduct repairs on electric, hybrid, or regular vehicles.
+ Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs using schematics and diagnostic equipment.
+ Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
+ Save and tag parts for warranty or technical team requests.
+ Examine vehicles for further safety or service work requirements.
+ Document all performed and recommended work on the work order.
+ Road test vehicles when required.
+ Stay informed about manufacturer technical bulletins and recalls.
+ Supervise and mentor other technicians.
+ Maintain and return company-owned tools and manuals in proper condition.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of Electrical Vehicle (EV) experience
+ 5+ years of experience as an Automotive mechanic/technician
+ Master Level technician
+ A minimum of 4 ASE certifications
+ Experience with hybrid or electrical vehicle maintenance
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Willingness and experience in traveling
+ Ability to get additional ASE certifications within one year
+ Experience training newer technicians
+ Ability to work independently and manage a maintenance program
+ Strong customer interfacing skills

All tools and supplies are provided, and travel expenses such as hotel and meal allowances are covered.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $59.00/hr.

**Summary:**
This position reports directly to Plant Manager, responsible for performing diversified duties to run, troubleshoot, and correct issues related to the production equipment according to safety, and processes to support the achievement of the location's business goals and objectives.
**Core Responsibilities:**
Utilize control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes.
+ Demonstrated excellence on set-up and operating the filling machine and fuel cell processing equipment that produce fuel cell canisters. Adjustments are made by following established SOP's for machines.
Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources to get information about issue
+ Perform all quality checks according to the Quality Plan and product specifications.
+ Perform and/or meet all safety, teamwork, quality, production, scrap, and housekeeping, rules, practices, and goals. Identify and correct safety hazards on machinery and in work area. Perform improvements as required.
Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems

Position Duties
- Master and Journeyman Technician: *Min. 5 years' experience preferred, must be able to:
- Experience in Chrysler, Jeep, Ram, and Dodge are a plus, but not required

Description of the role:
Jeff Belzer Auto Group - New Prague is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Technician to join our Family. As a Master Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, providing labor and time estimates for additional repairs, and ensuring a high level of customer service. This is a full-time position based in New Prague, Minnesota.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, AC, etc., to manufacturer specification
- Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
- Perform maintenance and light repairs
- Fluid changes
- Work as a team player and maintain a high level of customer service
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive repair (preferred)
- Experience in Chrysler, Jeep, Ram, and Dodge vehicles is a plus, but not required
- Diesel engine experience is a plus, but not required
- Positive attitude and enthusiastic individual with a "Team Player" mentality
- High energy and self-motivated individual with the drive to succeed
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask while still completing day-to-day responsibilities
- Proven work ethic with an emphasis on integrity and transparency
- Driver's license (required)
- ASE Certification (preferred)
