- Read and follow work instructions, procedures and follow oral instructions to ascertain material handling tasks
- Receive, move, handle, and issue material in storerooms and in production areas as necessary. All handling will be by hand or with material handling equipment
- Count and record number of units of materials moved, received into or removed from the shipyard

We are currently seeking skilled Material Handlers to join our growing team starting late Summer 2025 at our Trenton, NJ facility.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform material receipt, put away, pick, delivery, sort, and counting transactions
- Ensure materials are counted and sorted for production and customer fulfillment, and documented through the Warehouse Management System
- Responsible for keeping records of all products shipped and received by the company and ensuring that corresponding documentation is filed and maintained accurately
- Prepare material for shipping, including packaging items and loading and unloading trucks
- Verify incoming shipments by reviewing and matching shipping documents against purchase orders in the Warehouse Management System
- Ensure accurate record keeping of inventory, through cycle counts, return to stock and other managed inventory processes
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, fork trucks and reach trucks safely and efficiently
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior warehouse or order fulfillment experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating pallet jacks, forklift and reach trucks, or a similar experience. Forklift certification preferred.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.). ERP experience preferred.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours/shifts.
- Ability to lift a minimum weight of 40 lbs.
