Job Description

At CVS Health, we're building a world of health around every consumer and surrounding ourselves with dedicated colleagues who are passionate about transforming health care.
As the nation's leading health solutions company, we reach millions of Americans through our local presence, digital channels and more than 300,000 purpose-driven colleagues - caring for people where, when and how they choose in a way that is uniquely more connected, more convenient and more compassionate. And we do it all with heart, each and every day.
**Position Summary**
Do you have a passion for building a brand and implementing innovative marketing programs to create differentiation in a cluttered, yet fast growing industry? Are you deeply familiar with retail media brand strategy, brand narrative & campaign development, multi-channel (paid, owned, and earned) execution, event marketing, and demand generation - have executed at scale, driving business results and brand equity along the way?
Do you thrive off fast-paced environments, where sales enablement demands, and new product launches happen often - not once or twice a year? If you answered yes - come join the CVS Media Exchange (CMX) business as the Lead Director of Brand & Industry Marketing Strategy!
**Responsibilities**
In this position, you will lead a small but mighty team focused on defining and building the CMX brand, properly positioning CMX internally and externally, and identifying how the brand comes to life to create long-term equity. As a strategic, creative, and operationally driven leader you will inspire innovative brand marketing, communications and storytelling across all communications and touchpoints as well as industry activations. You will also be responsible for developing the annual marketing and editorial calendar supported with campaigns to drive advertiser acquisition and retention, as well as implement a lead management process for the Partner Management Team. You will report to the Head of CMX Marketing, with close partnership across the broader Monetization Leadership Team, Corporate Communications, and Heart Haus, internal CVS Health agency.
You will have six main focuses but the opportunities for impact are limitless:
1) Own the CMX brand strategy, architecture, content calendar and narrative across all touch points.
2) Drive the development and strategy for the CMX marketing plan and annual activation calendar including messaging strategy, industry events & speaking engagements, as well as sales enablement, including new advertiser acquisition and client extensions.
3) Define the owned and earned content calendar activating across channels (CMX site, LinkedIn page, eNewsletter) as well as in partnership with CVS Health Corporate Communications and external PR agency to garner earned coverage.
4) Partner with Consumer Insights to understand our advertisers and the comms opportunities as it relates to our offering, awareness, and overall satisfaction via semi annual brand tracker surveys.
5) Develop and managing the annual marketing budget, analyzing spending, and ensuring cost-effectiveness and return on marketing activities.
6) Lead and mentor a growing team of marketers, prioritizing activities that support CMX's strategic goals while fostering a culture of inspiration, growth and empowerment.
