Job Description
Merchandising Execution Associates (MEAs) ensure that the products are stocked and properly merchandised to provide the customer the best possible shopping experience while always keeping safety, accuracy and efficiency at the forefront.
Supplier Experience
- Executing price changes, product rotation, and special projects designed to improve how products are displayed to the customer and to meet our suppliers needs and expectations.
Enables Sales/Enable Growth
- Execute strategies and ensure products are displayed correctly to drive sales.
- Build displays and fixtures while utilizing basic hand tools and power tools in addition to refreshing display material/signage/brochures.
Operational Commitments
- MEAs work in teams, with on-site supervision and provide service to multiple departments in the store which requires repetitive lifting, bending, and operating lift equipment.
- MEAs build and maintain strong relationships with store associates and provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers.

Our large life-sciences retailer client is seeking a detail-oriented and digitally savvy eCommerce Merchandising & Digital Content Specialist to support our Laboratory Solutions business. This temporary role will focus on improving product discoverability, conversion, and content experience across the client's digital platforms. Ideal candidates have experience in eCommerce merchandising, digital content optimization, and an understanding of how scientific buyers shop and search for lab supplies online. The successful candidate will be someone who can think through what a good merchandising approach/strategy is for the business, a subject matter expert in eCommerce. The team is looking for professionals with eCommerce experience to help structure the taxonomy of their organization, ensuring a user-friendly layout for product categories and an effective promotions page. Ideal candidates should have deep user experience knowledge and the ability to compare and contrast products that fit into a workflow, with a strong preference for those with overlap in the biopharma and life sciences space. While design expertise is not required, strategic skills in driving more customers to our page are essential, and the client is open to alternate job titles such as User Experience or Product Managers. This is a remote position for a 6-month contract-to-hire, and the pay rate is $75/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
Enhance Product Detail Pages (PDPs): Improve content quality (titles, descriptions, imagery, attributes) for priority SKUs to support SEO, engagement, and conversion.
Optimize Category & Workflow Pages: Develop and refine landing pages for product categories and scientific workflows to improve navigation, educate customers, and drive product affinity.
Improve Site Taxonomy & Navigation: Refine category structures, filters, and product attributes to align with customer search behavior and purchasing workflows.
Execute Digital Merchandising Strategies: Support seasonal and category campaigns by managing site banners, product spotlights, and featured product carousels in alignment with business priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Portfolio Management, Strategic Marketing, eCommerce, and Downstream Marketing teams to ensure cohesive and relevant content across digital touchpoints.
Analyze & Report Performance: Monitor page-level performance metrics (CTR, bounce rate, conversion) and identify areas for ongoing optimization.
Support Content Upload & Governance: Maintain accuracy and consistency of product and category content using PIM and CMS tools.

Skills and Requirements
2-4 years of experience in eCommerce merchandising or digital content management
BA/BS degrees in Marketing or Life Sciences with marketing experience
Experience in B2B eCommerce
Proficient in product content optimization, taxonomy development, and digital asset management
Familiar with PIM, CMS, and basic SEO best practices; experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics preferred Familiarity with scientific, life science, or industrial product categories. null
