Quality Assurance (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Princeton, NJ): Will play a Quality Assurance role to perform manual and automation regression tests. Specific Duties of the position include: Performing manual and automation regression test framework and maintaining existing ones using Selenium, Java, Python and other testing tools like Cucumber, Postman, Snowflake, JMeter, TestNG; Building automated test cases for Middle and Back office reporting leveraging Enterprise Service Platform (ESP) and its utilities built on Exadata platform; Conducting build verification tests for any core ESP framework upgrades; Building automation framework using Postman for API integration with ADVENT GENEVA Accounting engine; Conducting ETL testing on large volume of Geneva Report Specification Language (RSL) and Report Definition Language (RDL) data sets to ensure data quality between Geneva Accounting engine and ESP; Building automated cases around API services exposed by Bloomberg Market Data and Reuters for market price validations / reconciliations; Writing test scripts and test cases using Selenium and Apache data drive test cases; Writing and executing complex DML SQL statements; Implementing the SDLC process; Creating jobs in Jenkins and executing regression, reviewing logs, and finding errors and root causes of failure; Coaching new members with Selenium in locating elements by xpath, by name, by ID, java class, method, interface; Participating in weekly code reviews and presentations to team; Communicating with various stake holders and providing daily reports to product owners; and Working with onshore and offshore teams and meeting tight deadlines. Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. Position Overview:
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our Specialty insurance products through a combination of manual testing and the development and execution of automated test scripts. We're looking for someone with a strong foundation in testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning and execution of project/ release testing activities.
- Prioritization of tasks according to business needs.
- Capacity planning, allocation of tasks and activities, tracking and reporting.
- Manage clients, partners and other project stakeholders and handle risks and issues and take appropriate project related decisions.
- Collaborate with team located across shores in successfully delivering the project.
- Ensure escalation processes are followed to swiftly alert all the project stakeholders to risks or issues in the project and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
- Build close relationships with all levels of the organization to allow open flow of communication.
- Act as an escalation for concerns.
- Drafting Test Strategy, Test Plan.
- Test effort estimation.
- Managing test schedules.
- Status and Metrics report to stakeholders Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Maintain and update the test Automation framework as needed.
- Execute automated test suites to identify defects to improve software quality.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipeline.
- Stay up to date on the latest advancements in test automation tools and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree or other equivalent years of experience/degrees.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as in a testing/QA role in the financial services industry.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the Commercial and/or Specialty insurance industry required.
- Exposure to different SDLCs, Agile experience is a must.
- Functional Testing experience.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Excellent communication including verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Analytical, rigorous, with attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new situations as they develop.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g. Playwrite, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress) is preferred.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript) and programing languages (e.g. Java, C#) is preferred.
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman and SoapUI is a plus.

Compensation
Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and skills. The base pay is just one component of Ascot's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and other forms of discretionary compensation awarded by the Company.
The salary for this position is $105,000-$125,000
