Key Responsibilities
- Azure Administration

Seeking an experienced Windows/Linux System Administrator that will be working in a highly collaborative, multi-platform and multi-disciplined environment.The System Administrator will be responsible for administering systems in Azure and AWS Cloud Environments.
The candidate will be responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software related to a Windows/Linux infrastructure in the cloud (Azure & AWS) environments.
Duties include, but are not limited to, server management; storage management (logical and physical); cross platform authentication and access management; software and license configuration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing infrastructure operations and support for existing cloud applications and migration of on prem applications to the cloud
* Overseeing cloud operations and designing infrastructure for new workloads
* Continuously improving and maturing cloud services
* Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous RedHat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows environment.
* Working in both cloud (Azure & AWS) and on prem environments.

* MongoDB knowledge is a plus.

Job SummaryWith minimal direct oversight, this position is responsible for overseeing and supporting the development of individual and/or complex funding proposals. This includes effective interaction with all involved parties and providing proposal management, editing and writing support, integration services, and program and budget development assistance.
This position reports directly to the Director of Research Strategy.
Experience and EducationRequired:
Education: Bachelor's degree in science, communications, business, or a related field
Experience: 8 years of experience working with extramural grants and contracts in an academic setting, including at least 2 years of significant editing and advising responsibilities for scientific and administrative components
Preferred:
Education: Master's degree in science, communications, business, or a related field
Partner with key stakeholders to design and implement research strategies that enhance the research portfolio
Collaborate with faculty to develop proposal strategies and write or support non-scientific/technical sections of complex and individual grant applications
Provide comprehensive editorial review and advise principal investigators on proposal content and organization
Oversee and support the development of multiple complex funding proposals annually, as well as facilitate individual investigator-led grants
Offer high-level mentorship and expertise in project management, scientific communication, sponsor requirements, and reviewer expectations
Act as a subject matter expert on complex grants and guide Research Development Associates
Manage and coordinate the proposal development process, ensuring integration and compliance with all sponsor requirements
Provide templates and drafts for non-scientific sections such as education, outreach, and administrative plans
Develop and maintain institutional resource materials and contribute to website updates
Analyze and interpret complex scientific, medical, or technical data; may assist with graphics and visuals for applications
Balance multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Lead formal programs to enhance grant writing skills across broader audiences
Facilitate key meetings with faculty to advance research agendas, including strategy sessions and team workshops
Report to the Director of Research Strategy on all relevant activities
Perform other duties as assigned
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Expertise in scientific writing and editing
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Familiarity with sponsor guidelines and academic research environments

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Rock RMS System Administrator to oversee and manage our Rock RMS (Relationship Management System) platform. This individual will play a key role in maintaining, configuring, and optimizing the system to support the operational, communication, and engagement needs of our organization. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, is proficient in database and user management, and is passionate about leveraging technology to enhance ministry impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Administration:
- Configure and maintain the Rock RMS platform, including workflows, dashboards, attributes, and custom fields.
- Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions to ensure secure and appropriate access.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure stability and reliability.
- Manage event registrations, forms, surveys, communications lists, and other Rock RMS tools.
- Data Management:
- Responsible for helping maintain our church database (Rock RMS).
- Oversee data entry, import/export processes, and ensure data integrity across all modules.
- Day-to-day maintenance, including but not limited to updating person information, reporting, and building event registrations.
- Create and maintain reports and analytics to support ministry operations and decision-making.
- Monitor and address duplicate records, incomplete data, and system errors.
- Integrations:
- Knowledge of custom workflows, plugins, and scripts tailored to the organizations needs.
- Collaborate with staff to identify technical requirements and develop solutions to enhance functionality.
- Work with the Rock RMS team and outsourced developers to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between Rock RMS and other systems or software.
- User Support & Training:
- Provide technical support to staff and volunteers, addressing system-related questions and issues.
- Provide Tier 1 support on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
- Train team members on using Rock RMS features effectively for ministry operations.
- Ensure reliability and usability of check-in systems in collaboration with IT Support.
- Develop and maintain user guides and documentation for system processes and best practices.
- Conduct training for new staff users as part of the onboarding process.
- Develop rapport with the Rock RMS community as a source of learning and development.
- Stay updated on Rock RMS updates, tools, and community resources to continuously improve system performance.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Prior experience managing Rock RMS or similar church management systems is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of database management, workflows, and reporting tools.
