Department: Contract Crushing
Reports to: General Manager, Contract Crushing
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receives training and performs duties in Contract Crushing operations. Learns line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints, and company policies and practices that affect each phase of business. Sets performance goals and objectives with management and key trainers. Monitors performance progress with management and key trainers. Observe experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties. Receives training in functions and operations of related departments. Attends company-sponsored training classes. This will require being in the field 50% of the time. This will also require a period of time with supervisor duties in the field for development of skill and knowledge.
Job Purpose:
Learn and grow a career within Contract Crushing that leads to a plan of succession.
Gain knowledge and experience required for promotion to management positions under direction of experienced personnel. The on-the-job training will provide excellent opportunity to learn the technical and commercial aspect of the Contract Crushing Business from seasoned "Professionals". The job will require interaction with all departments of Mellott Company and Contract Crushing customers.
Required education and experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Mining, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
- 2 to 3 years experience in related fields preferred
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
ComputerSkills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Other Qualifications:
Must be able to travel locally and regionally approximately 25% of the time.

**Introduction to the team**
The Resource Management Senior works with the Resource Management team to plan and implement our people strategy, manage staff utilization, coordinate staff schedules, resolve conflicts and deploy people. This role contributes to overall firm productivity and promotes a positive work experience for all of our staff. Relationships and attention to detail are key to success in this role and the incumbent will partner with practice leadership, engagement managers, staff, human resources, and internal accounting to promote people development and maximize utilization. The Resource Management Senior will work to balance business needs with economic and operational considerations as well as people development. The applicant should also possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse leadership styles.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Strategically assign staff to projects with a focus on client needs and professional development to effectively leverage all resources
+ Effectively troubleshoot and resolve intermediate scheduling conflicts and escalate as necessary
+ Proactively collaborate with client service teams to improve utilization by creatively filling open time, creating capacity and/or anticipating availability
+ Act as change agent for the scheduling process and continually recommend process improvements
+ Develop relationships with staff to understand their goals and areas of development to align with client needs and engagements
+ Communicate and collaborate across locations to share staff resources and best practices
+ Compile and analyze reports such as scheduled hours vs budget, utilization, and projections to help manage our business
+ Identify trends and communicate issues in talent management such as skill gaps, demand for new skill sets, potential training needs and other needs to increase staff effectiveness
+ Partner with HR and leadership to address performance issues and career development of staff at all levels
+ Identify and take action to continuously improve, apply innovation and lead at all levels
+ Plan and implement people strategies that align with business objectives
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in Human Resources, Business or a related field preferred
+ Minimum of 3 years of related experience required; experience in project management or resource management a professional services industry preferred
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Moss Adams will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status)
+ Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing assignments
+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills; previous experience with conflict resolution preferred

+ Ability to handle confidential information, apply tact and discretion in sensitive situations
+ Ability to effectively communicate across various levels and to manage delivery of difficult messages

Performs a wide range of complex duties including coordinating the staffing for the nursing department, managing flex pool staff, and managing agency personnel
**The value you'll bring to the team:**
+ Coordinates the staffing of nursing units.
+ Reviews unit schedules on a monthly/weekly/ and daily basis to project staffing needs
+ Provides safe staffing levels throughout facility by using creative measures before utilizing agency personnel
+ Maintains daily staffing sheets and adjusts daily staffing to achieve productivity targets as census changes throughout day.
+ Monitors weekend staffing.
+ Maintains productivity statistics.
