Responsibilities

**Job description and responsibilities**
The Developer - Mobile App role will collaborate with the eCommerce team and IT to develop, program, and test various projects applying the latest mobile technologies.
In this role, developers will design, develop, document, test, and debug the application. They will work with innovative technologies and enterprise-grade integration software daily and will be instrumental in advancing the customer mobile app to a higher technological standard. + Contributes to the full development life cycle, including concept, design, build, deployment, testing, release to app stores, and support for the Mobile App (both IOS + Android)
+ Apply source control and bug-tracking systems effectively

The base pay range for this role is $109,820.00 to $142,936.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.

Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking an experienced **Senior Mobile Applications Developer** to lead the design, development, and modernization of secure, scalable, and user-centric Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) and native Android and iOS apps. supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Web & Mobile Technology Program. The senior developer will provide technical leadership, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality delivery of mission-critical digital health solutions within an Agile environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Lead the development and modernization of complex web applications using React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and PWA frameworks, ensuring compliance with DHA standards.
+ Lead the development and modernization of complex native iOS and native Android applications using Swift/Objective-C, Kotlin/Java, and native frameworks, ensuring compliance with DHA standards.
+ Architect and implement scalable front-end and back-end solutions, integrating APIs, microservices, and cloud services in containerized environments.
+ Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, fostering knowledge sharing, code quality, and best practices.
+ Collaborate with UX designers, product owners, project managers, and testers to define technical requirements and deliver solutions that meet user needs.
+ Drive Agile best practices within the team, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Ensure applications meet accessibility, security (including FIPS 140-2 compliance), and performance standards.
+ Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies such as blockchain, real-time messaging systems, and infrastructure as code (IaC) to enhance project outcomes.
+ Conduct code reviews, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for complex issues.
+ Lead efforts in documentation, technical design, and process improvements.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience/education/training)
+ 6+ years full-stack web application development - MVC, with ASP.NET Web Forms a plus
+ Experience in Microsoft development - Visual Studio, IIS, and SQL Server.
+ Experience with C#, JavaScript/Typescript, CSS, React, Tailwind CSS, HTML5, SQL scripting, NodeJS, Swift/Objective-C, Kotlin/Java, Capacitor.
+ Experience using Android Studio and Xcode.
+ Experience utilizing agile methodologies through all phases of software development lifecycles.
+ Docker / Kubernetes /Containerization experience is a plus.
+ MongoDB and SQL experience is a plus.
+ Hyperledger/Blockchain experience is a plus.
+ API, web service, Microservice, cloud service development a plus.
