**Role Description:**
The HR Global Mobility Consultant provides operational and strategic guidance to the organization regarding mobility and compliance services, while collaborating globally to drive innovation and foster an excellent end-to-end customer experience.
**What you'll do:**
+ Partner with the business to successfully lead cross border relocations with country and policy expertise to the Americas region.
+ Support the design and implementation of internal cross border staffing processes in close alignment with the finance, consulting, IT and other organizations.
+ Provide effective, creative solutions for exceptions and escalations, and manage agreed upon service level agreements with Third party Vendors as a case manager.
+ Continuously develop and demonstrate broad knowledge of Global Mobility topics, especially with regards to country specifics: immigration, social security, tax and permanent establishment risks among others.
+ Contribute to the broader, global team to drive innovation, provide trainings/exchanges regarding Mobility topics (immigration, social security, tax)
**What you bring:**
+ Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
+ Strong project management and consultation skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English (Spanish/Portuguese desired as well).
+ In-depth knowledge in international taxation rules and US immigration knowledge.
+ Strong sense of urgency and customer focus with the ability to collaborate virtually, and manage through ambiguity.
+ Cultural sensitivity and aptitude to collaborate with international & virtual teams, with a desire to learn and develop.
**Education**
+ At least a Bachelor's Degree in HR, Finance, Legal, Business Administration, and/or comparable experience/degree
**Practical Experience:**

Technical Consultant, Wireless & Mobility
The Wireless and Mobility Engineer's role is to implement the WLAN project for the overall logical and technical WiFi network architecture, including all wired/wireless and core components. This candidate will take the project, as designed in the SOW, and be able to successfully implement the hardware and/or software required. It is important the individual will be a team player, working with Architects and other Engineers from the team, and be able to handle working in very diverse client environments.
What you'll do:
- Must be able to deliver successful implementations as described in SOW's within the set timeline
- Will perform tasks as a post-sale implementation engineer
- Collaborate with end users and senior management, both internally and externally, to define business requirements for complex systems implementation for all infrastructure plans
- Provide architectural consulting expertise to clients and make recommendation to clients on implementation plans and be able to identify other areas that may need to be addressed
- Document and develop in-depth knowledge of company's existing WiFi network architecture/infrastructure, and technology portfolio
- Attend vendor training classes and obtain new certifications and/or keep certifications current
- Learn from Wireless and other System Architects and Engineers
- Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility
- Interact with project team members for a successful implementation of the architectural design
- Define and document the system architecture
- Recommend, document, advocate and enforce industry best practices to the client
- Identify, research, select and introduce appropriate new technologies and techniques to current architecture

- Support other engineers and clients with questions by participating in problem resolution activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in MIS, technical degree or equivalent experience
- Industry Standard Certifications, such as CWNP, CISSP, Network+, etc
- A minimum of two (2) years of related Wireless experience in a technical capacity
- A minimum of seven (7) years in networking/IT experience
- Strong desire to learn new technologies, vendors and keep up with the latest technology
- Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, network protocols, routing protocols, SSL and IPSEC VPN, Internet security including firewall policies and user roles
- Detail working knowledge of Cisco, Aruba and Meraki Wireless, other vendors will benefit as well
- Detail working knowldege of OSI framework, including Layers 1 - 7

Job Description
Our globally-integrated solutions support global workforce mobility, including immigration, tax, managed services, and digital solutions. As a trusted advisor of compliance, consulting and technology services to multinational corporations, we solve complex, cross-border workforce mobility challenges to ensure our clients and their employees have a consistent and compliant global mobility experience.
Responsibilities

Preferred Knowledge/Skills
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in understanding cross-border employee movement including foreign national and expatriate issues, foreign tax compliance and the tax equalization process; managing international assignee populations of multi national clients; and working in a professional service environment leveraging a worldwide network to best service clients.
- Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in expatriate tax program policy and administration design; identifying and addressing client needs, building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.
- Considerable experience as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
- Preferred familiarity with a CRM system.
- Demonstrates knowledge of automation & digitization in a professional services environment including but not limited to:
- innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions;
- working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients;
- utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements.
- Knowledge of alternative fee arrangements, including the use of pricing tools, to provide a point of view on pricing strategies

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
The Global Mobility Program Lead is responsible for the successful execution of immigration policy and programs in partnership with our immigration legal team. The Program Manager provides support and consultation to the enterprise on immigration matters and analyzes the impact of planned or enacted legislation to the company and its operations. The successful candidate will be key to navigating a changing immigration landscape by assuring the program runs smoothly and maintaining compliance with government regulations - all the while delivering a premium candidate/employee experience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Immigration Program Ownership
+ Lead global immigration strategy, policy development, and execution across multiple lines of business
+ Manage visa processes for new hires, transfers, and dependents, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, green cards, and local work permits alongside internal legal counsel
+ Serve as primary liaison between employees, internal stakeholders, and internal/external immigration counsel
+ Proactively identifies areas of risk or opportunity including process improvement and training needs
+ Compliance
+ Advise HR, TA, and business leaders on immigration timelines, risks, and options for candidate offers and internal mobility
+ Ensure compliance and oversee audits for all relevant immigration laws and government reporting (e.g., LCA postings, PERM recruitment process, SEVIS, I-9, AOR)
+ Stay up to date on immigration policy changes and proactively assess impact to the business
+ Process Optimization & Employee Experience
+ Develop and refine immigration-related workflows, templates, and knowledge tools for employees and HR teams
+ Own employee and hiring manager communication and education on immigration process, rights, and responsibilities
+ Track and report key immigration metrics (volume, processing times, approvals, escalations, etc.)
**Skills, Experience and Requirements**
**Education and Experience:**
+ Bachelor's Degree or higher strongly preferred
+ 7+ years Immigration related experience
+ 7+ years Program Management and/or managerial experience preferred
**Skills and Qualifications:**
+ Demonstrated experience leading projects and identifying process improvements
+ Proficiency with the Google Suite, including but not limited to, Google Sheets and Google Docs
+ Effectively interact with all levels of organizational staff and company personnel
+ Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written/oral communication, and customer service skills

Your day-to-day may include:
- Overseeing the efforts of multiple client services teams on client engagements; plan, execute, direct, and complete international expatriate services projects in a wide variety of industries; provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients; market, sell, design, and implement tax-planning strategies for clients and manage to budget.
- Overseeing the delivery of a full range of international expatriate tax services and advise U.S. and foreign based multinational companies on the tax implications of their global workforce as well as coordinating U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to develop an optimal global mobility strategy.
- Consulting with clients on tax-efficient structuring of international assignments, effective use of tax treaties, minimize worldwide tax burdens of business travelers, manage risk associated with a global workforce for mid-market companies.
- Managing, develop, train, and mentor staff on tax projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews.
- Conducting primary and secondary review of complicated or complex US individual tax returns; coordinate global tax compliance services for clients.
- Facilitating client understanding of international tax development implications.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
- CPA or JD required
- You have a minimum of 4 years experience in progressive tax consulting, preferably with at least 3 years focused on international expatriate services.
- You have experience with a Big 4 firm, law firm, or large corporate global mobility department of a multinational company
- You demonstrate superior analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with proficiency in individual tax consulting and compliance. Experience with inbound and outbound employee relocation consulting. Ability to effectively communicate cross border tax concepts to clients who are not tax specialists
- You demonstrate experience in practice development, business development, and managing seniors and staff.
- You have computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology.
- You can work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
- You have the ability to travel as needed.
