Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support the Music Technology Program
- Assist with recording and sound reinforcement for Music Department events
- Act as special liaison for Prof. Chandler and the music theory and music technology classes, which use music notation and recording software
- Maintain equipment in Music Technology Studio and other affiliated spaces and fix or report items that need attention
- Install and update software
- Act as a liaison between the Music Dept. and ITS
- Must be available weekday afternoons and evenings to assist students using Music Technology Studio software
- Computer and music literacy
- Must be reliable, flexible, efficient, and personable

Brief Description of Duties
The University of the District of Columbia is a public land grant institution of higher learning dedicated to providing quality, career-focused undergraduate and graduate programs that prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and credentials needed to launch, enhance, or change careers. The University of the District of Columbia is seeking an experienced instructor to teach courses in music technology and supervise and maintain music technology facilities and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Teaches assigned undergraduate courses in music technology.
- Maintains current knowledge pertinent to area of assignment and instructional methods.
- Provides students an approved syllabus that includes course objectives and learning outcomes, teaching methodology, attendance policies in line with those of the institution, assignments and deliverables, timelines, and evaluation criteria.
- Uses the institutions learning management system to post syllabus, assignments, and other materials and to communicate with students.
- Supervises and maintains music technology facilities and equipment.
- Collaborates with other faculty on interdisciplinary projects
- Assesses regularly and gives timely feedback to students.
- Examines and remediates ones instructional practices to more effectively engage and support students of diverse needs and backgrounds.
- Maintains records of enrollment and attendance, assessments and grades; submits class rosters and grade sheets by the deadlines established by the institution.
- Participates in Course Assessments.
- Monitors UDC email for program updates and information
- Attends required professional development and/or University meetings.

Minimum Job Requirement
- Bachelors degree in subject or related subject field and/or equivalent professional experience.

The Logistics Manager oversees all aspects of the warehouse operations including day-to-day workflow,
asset accountability, systems management, fleet management, safety programs, general maintenance,

Essential Functions:
Creates and maintains a culture of safety in all aspects of the Warehouse Operations with
emphasis on safety training, policy, inspection, and audits to ensure compliance
Develop efficient and effective operational warehouse systems, processes, and controls to
support overall business levels to ensure venue objectives are achieved
Apply effective inventory management solutions to ensure a high level of operational productivity,
asset availability, and asset tracking are utilized to reduce unnecessary shortages
Create and maintain an equipment inspection process at warehouse level to ensure quality
control and equipment performance is of the highest standard for rental assets, and any
necessary repairs are managed expeditiously in a cost-effective manner
Responsible for overall receiving and distribution of all assets relating to general Capex and

The Venue Director II is responsible for successfully managing their assigned venue.
