**Job Description:** The **National Sales Manager** is responsible for leading and directing the sales team to achieve short and long-range strategic objectives through successful planning and execution of sales strategies for Chore's B2B group with emphasis on growing market share through Government, Distribution, and Retail sales. Designs and directs processes by which team and individual performance are recognized, feedback is consistently delivered, and performance is systematically improved.
+ Works with Marketing teams to integrate the market development strategies into overall marketing and branding strategies and activities.
+ Establishes and maintains critical industry contacts representing the company to key customers.
+ Plans for and oversees sales meetings, trade shows and hosts site-visits for key business partners.
+ Reviews performance metrics, reports and develop action plans to ensure performance targets are met through the continuous improvement process.
+ Conducts monthly operational reviews on key customer support issues, performance reports, and competitive pricing and promotion analysis.
+ Provides strategic and operational input to Product Development and Engineering, controls budgets for responsible areas, and ensure that customer goals are met.
+ Develops and manages sales and operating budgets.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
+ 3 years of recent sales experience working within assigned channel, preferably within the Outdoor Power Equipment Industry (Dealers and Distribution)
+ Supervisory or leadership experience
+ Ability to travel, including overnights
**Preferred Requirements:**
+ Proven success in developing and fostering business relationships within the OPE Channel
+ Experience with National retail sales organizations
+ Experience managing a field-based sales team with the ability to travel nationally within the OPE dealer Network.
**Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:**
+ Working knowledge of the dynamics between distribution channel, dealer network, and the subsequent end user
+ Demonstrated ability to establish and direct successful sales team metrics and KPIs

Generac is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role based in South Burlington, VT is $108,000 - $122,000. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short and long-term incentives.
This position includes a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision plans; life, long-term disability, flexible spending and health savings accounts, accrued paid time off, 8 paid Holidays and 401(k) retirement benefits.

The National Sales Manager is responsible for driving new business and achieving enhanced growth across all lines of business for TrueNet Communications. The Sales Account Manager also leads the relationship efforts and fosters contacts and relationships within TrueNet’s core areas of business. (This is meant to be a guide. Essential Position Functions:
- Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with key leaders in assigned customer accounts.
- Drive sales pipeline process - identify potential opportunities, create forecast, set key performance indicators.
- Set sales targets within assigned territory. Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets.
- Effectively plan work based on the areas where maximum revenue growth can be achieved.
- Partner with Operations to create and submit statement of work, including scope of work and pricing information, to customers.
- Preparation of RFPs and proposals to prospects and clients.
- Negotiate contracts with customers to reach business agreements that benefits all parties.
- Work closely with Operations and Finance when new business has been sold - prepare the teams for the new work and ensure we deliver as agreed.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to sell ancillary services to existing customers.
- Execute networking activities at a very high level, effectively demonstrate the ability to prospect independently and jointly with Operations.
- Operate within sales budget and provides sales forecasts or related reports to senior management for use in strategic planning.
- Facilitate or assist in the resolution of customer problems or concerns.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years' industry experience.
- Minimum 3 years' experience of strategic sales experience.
- Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems preferred.
- Successful track record in sales-driven environments and superior leadership skills.
- Proven negotiation and analytical skills with professional business acumen.
- Ability to work independently - set schedule, meet with customers/operations to ensure overall satisfaction.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers.
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in written formats.
- Ability to give direction, adapt to change, establish relationships, and work in a team environment.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
+ Prospect, qualify and sell HoneyBaked catering, product gifting and gift cards B2B to new corporate customers within the healthcare space/assigned verticals.
+ Achieve assigned sales targets on a monthly and trimester basis by achieving required number of sales driving activities and tasks to deliver sales targets, as well as records in assigned tool or CRM.
+ Build relationships and collaborate with other departments (field leadership, marketing, etc.) to gain a better understanding and support other brand efforts.
+ Maintain and nurture several larger active accounts throughout the year.
YOUR TRACK RECORD
+ 3+ years of experience in B2B sales; at least 2 years in a national sales capacity
+ **Must** have experience selling into the following industries: **Healthcare** OR **Energy**
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Proven ability to achieve set sales metrics and sales goals.
+ Ability to analyze market data and sales trends to drive strategic decisions
WHAT ELSE?
Must meet all Required Driver requirements of the company including valid drivers license, insurance and reliable transportation.
This position may require overnight travel with sufficient notice (1-2 weeks advance notice).
