Job Description
- Here you can: VERSANT is looking for an Analyst, People Analytics & Reporting to join their team! The Analyst, People Analytics & Reporting will report to the Manager, People Analytics & Reporting and will be responsible for facilitating and completing reporting for VERSANT, while collaborating with key stakeholders. This role also involves participation in reporting systems design and testing, providing back-up support for day-to-day dashboarding/reporting troubleshooting, and assisting with special projects as needed.
- Acquire and maintain expertise in systems (SAP HCM and Business Objects), processes, diverse employee populations and security to enable accurate reporting
- Fulfill VERSANT report requests and ensure the validity of reporting results
- Support the VERSANT leadership team by providing key data for critical business activities
- Provide functional guidance to SAP HCM & Business Warehouse HR system users, including troubleshooting issues, resolving data discrepancies, and addressing user inquiries
- Develop and maintain processes to link VERSANT HR datasets together
- Maintain and enhance existing reports based on business requirements and develop new reports as necessary
- Provide back-up support for day-to-day Power BI dashboarding/and test end-user reporting queries and defects
- Provide back-up support for Snowflake configurations and uploads
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with Business Unit HR client groups, Finance, Legal, Compliance, etc.
- Assist with additional company-wide reports and special projects, as needed
What youll need:
- Bachelors Degree in business, computer science, psychology, other related degree with a focus on data analysis/critical thinking or equivalent experience
- 1+ year of experience in data handling (e.g. report writing, data analysis, research, etc.) and using SAP Business Objects or related data warehouse reporting tools
- Experience providing SAP Business Objects or related data warehouse system support (e.g. troubleshooting, testing, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with HR Data Systems
- Experience with Power BI & Snowflake
- Knowledge of HR processes, practices and organizational models
- Experience handling various types of government compliance requests
- Solid ability to compile and analyze data
- Ability to set reporting expectations for requestors regarding access, data and structures
- Solid attention to detail; ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to facilitate requests end-to-end while effectively communicating with relevant business groups
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of data
- Effective written and verbal communication skills including ability to explain data and metrics to non-technical audiences
- Exceptional decision-making skills and ability to use professional judgement
- Customer-oriented individual with problem solving skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in performing work duties
- Work as a member of a team
- Must be willing to work overtime when required
- Must be willing to travel for work related business if necessary
- Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $65,000 - $0,000.

This position will be on the Content Evaluation & Advanced Analytics team working closely with the Sports Decision Sciences team with a charter to generate impactful content performance insights to enhance content investment, programming, and other strategic business decisions. As Senior Analyst, you will work in a high-visibility and fast-paced environment, delivering insights and analyses that support the evaluation and acquisition of content for NBCUniversal (especially Peacock). This role will have a tangible impact on Peacock's growth and success as it establishes itself as a major player in the streaming landscape. The role consists of developing insights across the NBC Sports portfolio, including the Olympics, NFL, NBA, PGA TOUR, Big Ten, Notre Dame, FIFA World Cup, WWE, and Premier League.
Responsibilities:
+ Query and analyze complex data sets (1st and 3rd party) to develop content and customer insights that drive content, programming, strategy, sales, finance, marketing, and editorial decision-making for sports properties
+ Generate ad-hoc analyses to answer critical and time-sensitive business questions and identify areas of strategic opportunity
+ Synthesize complex analyses, KPIs, and concepts into digestible presentations for a variety of audiences, including key stakeholders and senior leadership
+ Present and communicate performance results and findings to all levels of the organization, positioning analyses in a creative and concise manner
+ Take ownership of projects from planning through execution and delivery, collaborating with partners to define business needs, craft analytic approach, and develop data solutions
+ Evangelize sports performance stories and data-driven decision making throughout the organization
+ 3+ years of analytical experience working with large, complex data sets and analytical and communication tools
+ SQL expert; additional programming languages used for data analysis (e.g., R, Python) are a plus
+ Advanced spreadsheet skills
+ Proficiency in PowerPoint is a must
+ Knowledge of Tableau or equivalent data-visualization tools for building dashboards
+ Knowledge of Adobe Analytics and experience with Nielsen products are a plus
+ Experience with statistical modeling and/or advanced data science techniques is a plus
+ Impeccable attention to detail
+ Strategic thinker with ability to derive conclusions and recommendations from raw data
+ Impressive communication and storytelling skills
