**Position Summary**
The Network Engineer builds andmaintainsthe internal infrastructure systems at ISC2.The incumbent will join an in-flight effort to optimize on-premises and cloud footprint to providemaximumreliability and consistency throughout the network?Automatingthe environment is keyto reducingtasks, improvingproductivity, and acceleratingprocesses.
**Responsibilities**

The Lead, Cloud Network Engineer designs, analyzes, plans and modifies network components supporting customer communication implementation activities. The Lead, Network Engineer works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

The Lead Network Support Engineer will be responsible for providing operational support for Humana's enterprise network which spans across multiple lines of business from government, retail clinics and pharmacies, distribution centers to the traditional corporate campus and datacenters. The primary responsibility of the Network Operations Manager will be to provide the highest quality network infrastructure environment support by ensuring the network operations team is monitoring the performance and health of the enterprise network and running point as the restoration lead for the network team on outage calls.

Team Lead responsibilities for these areas of concentration include, but are not limited:

  • Respond to escalations for all major and significant incidents (P0 - P2)

  • Serve as a primary liaison for network operations partnering with other infrastructure teams such as the technical operations team (Level 1), server, storage, security, SRE and application teams

  • Maintain and operate network solutions (routers, firewalls, switches, wireless, appliances) across the enterprise landscape with a focus on reliability, throughput, scalability, and security which will help us scale with the needs of the business

  • Provide a level of escalation in response to incidents/requests regarding network performance and configuration, including off hours escalations

  • Network engineering certification such as CCNA through CCNP or the equivalent

  • 5+ years of project leadership experience.

**The Main Responsibilities**
+ **Develop and deploy** enterprise voice services using AWS components such as EC2, Lambda, VPC, Direct Connect, and CloudFormation.
+ **Implement and maintain** SIP-based voice infrastructure in AWS, including SBCs, and call routing logic.
+ **Automate provisioning and monitoring** of voice services using scripting (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
+ **Integrate AWS voice services** with third-party platforms and on-premise systems to support hybrid voice environments.
+ **Troubleshoot and resolve** issues related to call quality, latency, and service availability in real-time.
+ **Collaborate with engineering and operations teams** to ensure secure, compliant, and high-performing voice deployments.
+ **Contribute to CI/CD pipelines** for voice service updates and configuration management.
+ **Document implementation details** , runbooks, and operational procedures for voice services.
**What We Look For in a Candidate**
**Required Qualifications**
+ 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native development.
+ 2+ years of experience in voice engineering, including SIP, VoIP, SBCs, and real-time communications.
+ Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
+ Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
+ Familiarity with voice monitoring tools and protocols (e.g., RTP, RTCP, MOS scoring).
+ Solid understanding of network fundamentals (IP, DNS, NAT, VPNs).
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in agile environments.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional.
+ Experience with NG911, E911, or other regulatory voice services.
+ Exposure to open source RTC tools in cloud environments. (Kamailio, FreeSWITCH,.)
+ Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
+ Experience with containerized deployments (Docker, ECS, EKS).
+ Proficiency in using Ansible to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of voice systems and network infrastructure
**Compensation**
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$103,711 - $38,281 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
108,896 - 145,195 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
114,082 - 152,109 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
