SUMMARY:
The Network Analyst would be a part of the company's IT Global Networking team reporting to the Manager - Network Services. This position will work within the company's operations team to support the enterprise network and contribute to projects when needed requiring network expertise.
DUTIES:
- Actively participate in the planning, design, and implementation of network related projects
- Act as an escalation resource for reported network or application performance issues
- Manage and support the network monitoring and configuration management software
- Provide technical and architectural support for field networks to include industrial switches, routers, and wireless bridges
- Assist in developing the overall network strategy for the company globally
- Utilize the service portal to manage and create service requests, outages, and change requests
- Identify, evaluate and recommend technologies using best practices/industry standards
- Identify innovative ways to utilize existing applications and technologies
- Forecast and coordinate management of change for scheduled maintenance weekends
- Effectively communicate with end users and peers around the world
- International and Domestic travel may be required
- The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Extensive design, deployment and troubleshooting experience with large enterprises
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to clearly articulate complex issues
- Project management and customer interfacing capabilities
- Extensive experience with Palo Alto products including Panorama, PA NextGen Firewalls and Prisma
- Extensive experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewall and wireless hardware

- Extensive experience with Wireshark and packet level analysis and application performance root cause analysis

The search for a potential candidate would be with someone who has worked with CISCO, F5 networks and ZScalar and transitioned into Cloud. The candidate background has to be in networking and not cloud as the core.
Please look for deep networking knowledge. The cloud will come together which is not a big deal. Focus on Cisco switches networking, Big IP, WAN, LAN , BGP, FW and AWS Direct Connect.
Job summary:
The Sr Cloud Engineer role is part of the Cloud COE, and is responsible for delivering Cloud solutions to the Application team (internal customer), based on customer requirements. The Sr Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing and building scalable, available, and secure architecture solutions, based on Architectural standards, availability of services, cost, network, security, storage, and Governance considerations. The Engineer should also be able to design, develop, test, and deploy secure custom workflows and scripts within the Cloud infrastructure that can be used for integration, deployment, monitoring, compliance, or other routine tasks.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of solutions based on Architectural best practices and AWS Well Architected Framework
Provides guidance on AWS, Azure and GCP Cloud offerings.
Assists business devops teams with the design and implementation of highly available, cost efficient and fault tolerant systems.
Leads the implementation of Cloud Architecture solutions, based on defined standards for Cloud COE - from an Application and Infrastructure perspective.
Leads the delivery of simple Cloud architecture patterns and implementations based on customer requirements.
Assists with the analysis of the application portfolios and migration feasibility.
Understand the integration of Cloud infrastructure/network environment with corporate infrastructure / data centre environment.
Assist with design of reference Architecture for implementation of codified stacks that meet the needs of the applications
Continuous building, testing, integration, and deployment of platforms and pipelines
Provides hands-on technical support to accelerate Cloud learning among peers
Assist with implementation of standardized offerings
Assist maintaining Repositories & registries for build/deployment artifacts
Assist with the creation of automated testing frameworks for applications and infrastructure
Collaborates with internal service teams for infrastructure and application deployments
Understands the tools used to perform proactive monitoring of system and server health, analyze trends to prevent incidents
Assists in implementation of Security Standards, based on organization's Security policy
Familiarity with Security best practices and industry standards for security
Working Conditions:
Work either fully remote or Hybrid office schedule.
Some overtime required as special projects arise.
Minimal Travel
Minimum Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in AWS, Azure & GCP environments.
Terraform Cloud expertise.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience working with Hashicorp applications, specifically Terraform Cloud Enterprise, Vault and Packer
Demonstrated experience of working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Demonstrated experience of Cloud computing technologies
Demonstrated experience of AWS, Azure and GCP design principles and architectural best practices and industry standards
Demonstrated experience of the AWS Well Architected Framework and Cloud migration industry standards and best practices
Prior programming background in at least ONE language: C++, Java, Python, Ruby etc.
Demonstrated experience of building IaaS and PaaS solutions
Knowledge of technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization
Demonstrated experience of Cloud computing technologies and workload transition challenges
Demonstrated experience with one or more IaaS platforms like Google Compute Engine, Azure, Soft Layer, OpenStack, etc.
Demonstrated experience with software development life cycle (SDLC).
