The Resident Artist will be a Brand Artistry ambassador in retail partner locations. A top-tier Makeup Artist - an Industry Leader with exceptional customer service, public speaking and communication skills.
The Resident Artist drives Brand Equity and awareness by being an influential Makeup Artist working with Clients, keeping a full clientele book to leverage to book appointments, events and to drive brand awareness and sales. Also responsible for driving commercial success by infusing Artistry, industry knowledge, storytelling, and technique angles during the launch planning processes and facilitating at large-scale special events.
**Qualifications**
**Job-Related Skills:** Proven exceptional ability with diverse styles of make-up application, speed & precision. Strong background in customer service and clienteling. Seamless teamwork is just as critical as the ability to lead a project independently. Agility in problem solving, organizational skills, public speaking and instructional training are key.
**Job-Related Experience:** A minimum of 3 years of makeup experience. Artistry Education /Training experience is a plus.
**Analytical/Interpretive Skills:** Ability to understand and quickly adapt to the requirements of internal & external partners/clients.
**Communication Skills:** Proven ability to provide appropriate collaboration with internal and external partners. Proven ability to provide guidance, instruction and product knowledge and training.
**Creativity Skills:** Possess high level of skill in developing creative, effective, and inspiring makeup demonstration, content & presentations.
**Working Conditions:** Retail Partnered Store (Department Store/ Retail Selling floor), M·A·C Store, Training room (open area studio, or hotel or conference room), Make-up room environment
**Pay Range:**
The anticipated hourly range for this position is **$53,900.00 to $100,100.00.** Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
