+ Collaborate with affiliated educational institutions and CC clinical directors to develop strategies to address long-term staff needs.
+ Function as a key liaison to strategic educational partners.

+ Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)

The Clinical Educator / Nursing Professional Development Specialist is responsible for facilitating the development of clinical excellence in assigned areas through active participation in system, campus/, and unit based orientation, training, ongoing staff development, and competency validation. Designs, organizes, implements, and evaluates learning programs that facilitate the professional growth, skill development, initial/ and ongoing competence, and attainment of standards of care for direct care providers for assigned units. UbiSim is a best-in-class immersive virtual reality simulation solution for nurse education. This senior manager will play an integral role in shaping go-to-market (GTM) approach, creating positioning, managing launch plans, and driving growth for UbiSim. To be successful in this critical role, this person will need to offer strong strategic acumen, expertise in the nursing education market, a customer-centric mindset, and expert communication skills, both written and verbal. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Virtual Reality as a solution to supporting nursing simulation. This person must be able to collaborate well with product managers, growth marketers, customer success, sales, and engineering. This person must have strong industry knowledge of healthcare simulation, with specific background in nursing, nurse education, or related fields. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing and Communications, this person will be a member of the Corporate Marketing organization and accountable for UbiSim’s success and growth. Responsibilities: Develop and own market and product positioning, personas, and value propositions for UbiSim, our VR simulation solution for nurse training. Lead go-to-market communications, messaging, plans, and product launches in the US Higher Education supporting pre-licensure and Healthcare supporting clinical practice. Ensure that product messaging works within defined corporate messaging strategies by partnering with the communications team. Partner with UbiSim product managers to shape the product roadmap and deliver high impact go-to-market launches. Monitor, track, and interpret competitive developments on a consistent basis. Conduct and lead on-going research initiatives to understand customer needs, pain points, and industry trends. Act as the voice of the customer within the organization to inform product management decisions. Author and maintain product-specific marketing materials, such as pitch decks, product-specific collateral, support articles, and user guides. Work with customer marketing, sales, and customer success to write and deliver important customer information such as release notes, collateral, how-to guides, and training materials. Collaborate closely with fellow marketers to design and launch integrated marketing campaigns, develop creative, and ensure accurate content. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of product marketing efforts. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Registered Nurse (RN) License is a plus, but not required. 7+ years of experience in product marketing for B2B technology. 5+ years of experience marketing for nursing, healthcare, medical or related products. Expert industry knowledge of healthcare simulation, with specific background in nursing, nurse education, or related fields. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to articulate complex and technical concepts in a relatable manner. Strong project management skills with an ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as product management, sales, corporate communications, and customer success. Experience leading with market research and analysis initiatives. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and offer recommendations. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work remotely in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment. Results-oriented mindset with strong business acumen. Responsible for management and leadership of the Center for Professional Practice, Development, Residency, and Research which has the following departments: Nursing Education, New Graduate Residency, and Nursing Research. In addition, Provides oversight of evidence based practice, the professional development model, and nursing peer review. Accountable for the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of activities for Nursing designed to meet goals established to enhance professional development, to increase the clinical, leadership, and managerial competency of the staff, to enhance patient outcomes through clinical competency, education, research and evidence based practice, to facilitate the hard-wiring of quality initiatives, and to meet or exceed internal and external benchmarks.
ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Contributes to quality cost effective patient care through programs designed to meet learning needs to achieve desired patient outcomes, to increase clinical, leadership, and managerial competency, to promote error reduction, and to enhance professional development
2. Guides and mentors others in the interpretation of research and evidence based practice publications
3. Conducts, supports, and/or participates in research projects to promote a knowledge base for nursing and advanced nursing practice
4. Promotes shared leadership through the active participation in activities to achieve the Nursing strategic goals, effective communication, and the resolution of problems
5. Provides insight into role expectations of the graduate nurse to the schools of nursing faculty
6. Develops, integrates, and implements goals of the hospital and nursing into services provided by the department
7. Serve as a member of the nursing, hospital, and system committees as appointed
8. Represents CHI on a local, state, nation, and international level
9. Manages departmental budgets to assure resources are available to achieve stated goals
10. Recruits, selects, and manages department personnel
11. Monitors work assignments and projects of department staff to maximize productivity and equitable distribution of assignments
12. Provides quality customer service through educational offerings, collaboration, and consultation
13. Serves as a liaison to the local schools of nursing and facilitates placement of students to achieve curriculum requirements
14. Collaborates with nursing schools and other workforce development initiatives to develop creative approaches to integrate academic and organizational education
15. Develops innovative methods to provide and enhance educational programs/offerings leveraging technology to increase access
16. Provide oversight to the continuing education accreditation program
17. Supports and participates in organizational initiatives as needed or assigned.

**Qualifications**
