Function:

Perform process improvements and optimization for new and existing manufacturing processes and machinery. Provide daily support of these processes on the manufacturing floor.

Scope:

Responsible for production and manufacturing support for processes and machinery with a focus on lean manufacturing concepts.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Study and analyze existing manufacturing processes for improvements in cycle times, increasing capacity and reducing manufacturing costs.
  • Time studies and statistical analysis for direction for improvement of production methods based on lean manufacturing principles.
  • Support new product manufacturing equipment and new product manufacturing plans.
  • Interacts cross-functionally with all groups on functional issues related to manufacturing engineering and automation of machinery.
  • Support new and existing machinery pertaining to vision, robotic, and automated systems.
  • Other duties assigned by department manager.
Qualifications
  • Understanding of manufacturing process flow concepts and Takt/cycle times

  • Some experience with Autocad or Solidworks
  • Some experience with vision/robotics/control systems programming

+ Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), drafts various communications with the Sponsor and/or regulatory documents to be sent to the Sponsor.
+ Identifies and recruits clinical research subjects and monitors enrollment goals.
+ May conduct in-services to floor nurses/physicians; assists in precepting new clinical research staff and educating other research staff regarding scientific aspects of studies.
+ Teaches peers to critically think by verbally expressing rationale for decisions and follows up consistently. Uses peer-to-peer accountability towards improvement of department score for turnover/retention/employee engagement.

+ Participates in the Principal Investigator (PI) meetings.

Were seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Data Management & Quantitative Analysis II to join our Corporate Trust Analytics team. This role is a hybrid work schedule (4 days a week in office) located out of our Houston, TX office. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Working with internal and external datasets and client reference data, and providing analysis in the development of statistical, financial and/or econometric models for analyzing asset performance, securities data, derivative pricing, risk exposure or other sophisticated concepts. Computing statistical values, identifying model development performance, and comparing the model results to test data while also taking necessary corrective action. Utilizing your understanding of which analyses, methodologies and approaches best support assessment of performance, risk, or valuation. Reviewing and interpreting complex legal documents. Preparing ad hoc reports and being a strong contributor to team goals. To be successful in this role, were seeking the following: Bachelors or Masters in computer science, MIS, or Information Management, Data Science or equivalent. 6-8 years of experience preferred with strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Experience in quantitative finance and technology preferred with strong proficiency in SharePoint and MS Excel including advanced functions and data manipulation techniques At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
