The anticipated base pay range for this position is $89,000 to $143,750.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Credos Optical Systems Applications Engineering group is seeking an Optical Systems Validation Engineer to validate Credos DSP devices with high-speed optical components for data rates ranging from 50 Gbps to 224 Gbps and beyond. As an Optical Systems Validation Engineer, you will design optical test hardware, create test procedures, and analyze test results to finalize chip and module configurations used across various applications, including AI and data center applications. Required Qualifications
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related discipline with a strong concentration in optical sensing or optomechanical systems. Advanced Degree preferred
2+ years of relevant R&D or product development experience (industry or postdoctoral) beyond BS, ideally in medical devices or high-reliability embedded systems
Proficiency in optical system modeling and simulation (e.g., Zemax, FRED, or Code V) and hands-on lab experience with fiber optics, interferometry, or optical sensors
Familiarity with embedded systems, PCB design tools (e.g., Altium), and signal chain integration
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across disciplines and guide junior team members
Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with regulated development in the medical device industry (Class II or III devices)
Knowledge of biomedical signal acquisition and optical-electrical signal processing
Familiarity with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD for optomechanical integration
Proficiency with prototyping tools (3D printing, machining) and lab equipment such as power meters, light sources, spectrometers, and oscilloscopes
Programming skills in Python, C/C++, or MATLAB for sensor data acquisition and analysis
Demonstrated history of innovation, publications, or patent contributions

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Global HR Director to lead the HR function for our growing Optical Systems division across the US and UK. As a key member of both the Optical Division Leadership Team and the Global HR Leadership Team, this role is responsible for shaping and executing the people agenda that enables long-term business success, talent growth, operational excellence, and cultural alignment across a globally distributed workforce.
The HR Director will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating business strategy into aligned global HR initiatives and providing expert guidance across all areas of human capital management. Key Responsibilities:

G&H Optical Systems, US, is seeking a General Manager to lead our US operations and business as we look to rapidly grow revenues over the next 1-3 years. G&H Optical Systems US consists of three locations; Moorpark California, Keene, NH and Trinity, Florida. The combined offering covers super polished and IBS coated optics, bespoke, customized IR lens and zoom lens assemblies, periscope and sighting system design and volume manufacture, state of the art lithographic reticles and optical fabrication and coating.
The region boasts several blue-chip Prime and Tier-1 OEMs amongst its customer base, a burgeoning order book and pipeline and has a strategy in place for more than 2x growth in the period.
The successful candidate will be accountable for the P&L of the three US sites and the delivery of the plan which enables the identified growth. They will work closely with the established sales, BD, engineering and operations team and will be a key member of the Global, Divisional SLT.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operations of the three US Optical Systems sites.
- Full P&L ownership – accountable for revenue and profit before tax (PBT) targets, with a clear mandate for 2–3x growth over 3 years.
- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations including thin-film coated optics, IR lens assemblies, vehicle periscopes, and lithography.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Partner closely with US-based design engineering teams to transition new concepts into scalable production.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements, including those for DoD and other defense-related contracts.
- Build and develop high-performing teams and nurture leadership within the organization.
- Maintain close customer relationships and represent the business to key clients, particularly within Aerospace and Defense sectors.
- Location: Must reside in the Tampa area and be present on-site daily in Trinity, FL.

**Responsiblities**
The Stockpile Experimentation and Operations, Technology and Operations (SEO T&O) Directorate is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn to join the Technology Deployment Team within the Dynamic Instruments Section of SEO T&O. Dynamic Instruments is comprised of approximately 35 scientists, engineers, and technicians, and is the core for innovative diagnostic design, simulation, fabrication, characterization, and fielding in support of the NNSS' stockpile stewardship mission. The Technology Deployment Team is specifically responsible for providing quality technical support through diagnostic builds, RGD operations, probe development and assembly, fiber optic component assembly, and participating in fielding efforts for stockpile stewardship experiments and other applications across the NNSA complex. In this role, you will report to the Technology Deployment Supervisor.
+ Assist in building fiber-optic arrays and assemblies including cable breakout, fiber terminations, manual and mechanical fiber optic polishing, fusion splicing, and gas blocking.
+ Support optical system fabrication, metrology and photonics characterization.
+ Support evaluation and characterize of optical systems using geometrical optics test procedures.
+ Understand and perform basic metrology techniques for testing optical systems and individual optical components.
+ Provide field support for dynamic physics experiments within Test and Experimentation, working as a team member with coworkers, engineers and scientists on the fiber optics in their diagnostic systems.
+ Use of Optical Time Domain Reflectometers, alignment lasers, optical power meters, hand tools, razor blades, small electric drills, Dremel tools, epoxies and solvents.
+ On occasion walking over rough ground, lifting equipment safely up to 50 pounds in and out of vehicles and work in field temperatures between 30 and 100+ degrees.
+ Organize and maintain adequate supplies in a timely manner.
