POSITION SUMMARY

Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues with little to no supervision. Display solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks. Safely perform highly complex repairs of the physical property, electrical, plumbing and mechanical equipment, air conditioners, refrigeration and pool heaters - ensuring all methods, materials and practices meet company standards and Local and National codes - with little or no supervision. Troubleshoot and perform repairs on all types of equipment (e.g., pump and motor replacement), plumbing (e.g., plunge toilets and unclog drains), electrical equipment including lamps, air conditioners, HVAC equipment, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, replace electrical switches and outlets, and program TV's. Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work. Display advanced knowledge of all engineering computer programs related to preventative maintenance, energy management, and other systems, including devices that interact with such programs. Perform advanced troubleshooting of hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Display the ability to train and mentor other engineers as necessary. Display ability to perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including readings and rounds.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Adhere to quality expectations and standards. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience. 

License or Certification: Valid Driver’s License

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Chief Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and supervising all mechanical operations, maintenance, communications, energy management, and manpower development programs for assigned properties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to support the Airspace and Surface Radar Reconnaissance (ASRR) system development. The Software Developer will be responsible for building, testing, delivering, and deploying software applications that support ISR operations, data processing, and system integration for the ASRR program. As the primary software development resource, this role requires full-stack development capabilities and proficiency across multiple technologies to support diverse software requirements within a limited development scope.

Responsibilities

Software Development and Engineering:
    Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications supporting ASRR system operations, data processing, and user interfaces
  • Implement backend services using Python and NodeJS frameworks to handle ISR data processing and system integration
  • Develop frontend applications using TypeScript and NextJS to provide user interfaces for system monitoring, data visualization, and operational control
  • Create and maintain database solutions using SQLite and other database technologies to support system data storage and retrieval requirements
  • Integrate software applications with ASRR subsystems including aerostat control, ISR sensors, and ELINT processing systems
Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps:
  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS infrastructure including EC2 instances, S3 storage, and Route53 DNS services
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable software delivery and deployment processes
  • Configure and manage cloud-based development and production environments to support ASRR operations
  • Implement security best practices for cloud deployments and certificate management for both local and cloud-based systems
  • Monitor system performance and implement scaling solutions as required
Development Tools and Workflow:
  • Utilize modern development environments including Visual Studio, VS Code, Cursor, and other IDEs to maximize development efficiency
  • Manage source code using Git and GitLab repositories with appropriate branching strategies and collaboration workflows
  • Track development tasks and coordinate with engineering teams using Atlassian JIRA for project management and issue tracking
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools including local LLMs, Cursor, WindSurf, and GitHub Copilot to enhance development productivity while maintaining secure coding practices
  • Utilize CLI tools and shell scripting for automation, deployment, and system administration tasks
System Integration and Testing:
  • Develop software interfaces to integrate with ASRR hardware systems including sensors, communications equipment, and data processing systems
  • Create automated testing frameworks to ensure software reliability and performance under operational conditions
  • Support system-level testing and verification efforts by developing test tools and data analysis capabilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in both development and operational environments
Technical Documentation and Support:
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including software architecture, API documentation, and deployment procedures
  • Provide technical support to engineering teams and end users for software-related issues
  • Participate in technical reviews and provide software engineering expertise to program decisions
  • Support software configuration management and version control processes
Agile Development and Collaboration:
  • Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives

Required Qualifications

Education:

Experience:
