A Day in the Life:- Build and maintain a network of contacts and relationships with technology partners, industry stakeholders, and potential collaborators to explore partnership opportunities and foster engagement.
- Utilize various outreach methods (phone/email/etc.) to generate interest and schedule demonstrations for the Alertus solution with technology partners and strategic solutions.
- Effectively communicate the Alertus value proposition to secure demonstrations and drive partnership discussions.
- Identify new accounts, contacts, and business opportunities within a defined focus to advance growth of our business development objectives.
- Own the prospecting life cycle from researching and profiling key technology partners/industry leaders to scheduling demonstrations, aiming to develop a go-to-market strategy with strategic partners.
- Adeptly overcome objections and drive prospective partners to see the value in partnering with Alertus to enhance customer outcomes and business objectives.
- Execute persistent outbound business development efforts to promote the Alertus solution.
- Collaborate with the VP of Business Development to create and maintain an effective capture plan.
- Develop and articulate strategic value propositions for targeted technology partners/industry leaders to increase market share and mindshare through their sales channels and customer base.

$65,000 - $85,000 a year
*Additional compensation consists of incentives including commissions and bonuses. The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of Alertus salary range for this position. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will depend on several factors, which may include the successful candidates geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, education/training and other qualifications.

We are looking for a driven Strategic Alliances Manager to build and drive our relationships with 3rd party technology and accounting consultants to help support sales growth for Sage.
The Manager of Strategic Alliances is responsible for helping to drive incremental revenue for Sage through building alliances with VAR and partner alliances. Work will include management of existing partners and engaging with sales team to help drive incremental revenue for Sage. Developing joint marketing events with partners and attending or presenting at relevant industry events will also be part of job responsibilities. This will impact many stakeholders, so experience working with internal stakeholders in a matrixed environment is important. Experience with partner programs or other alliance experience is highly important, especially those focused on finance transformation, the office of the CFO, technology vendor selection, and/or digital transformation. This role reports to the Director of Alliances for Sage Intacct.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee marketing and outreach to potential partners- consultants, advisors, and VARs
- Develop partnership structure with tiered approach
- Scale the program to support rapid growth in new customer acquisition for Sage
- Support sales team
- Work across multiple teams in driving additional new business sales opportunities for Sage and expediting winning new customers from existing sales opportunities influenced by these partners.
Must Haves:
- BS/BA Degree, preferably in business, accounting, finance, or related fields, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience in either the software, technology, or consulting industry required
- Minimum of 1 year in partner or alliance role, including experience with partner operations

Job summary
The Category and Brand Management team is the central liaison for one or more partners for working with CDW stakeholders across the organization, including sales, finance, and marketing. - Understand and communicate partner organizational structure with key decision makers and foster strong executive relationships

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
• Work collaboratively with Product, Corporate Development, and Content to align the Alliances team with company priorities; Develop a thorough understanding of Relias' product lines across verticals and the ability to translate that knowledge into maximizing contributions from partners
• Lead the partnership discovery process to develop strategic goals, source new partners, model financials to analyze profitability, draft investment proposals, present findings to leadership team, and negotiate new deals within established business parameters; Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Product, and Content
• Negotiate new and renewal contracts to maximize value for Relias; Help drive improvements of the product P&Ls; Develop executive leadership briefings for key partner-related activities and metrics
• Serve as partner manager for partnerships with high strategic importance; Act as the focal point for escalation for issue resolution
• Develop and lead the members of the team through coaching and assisting to keep a positive team culture Work with Marketing and Sales to build strategies to increase partner engagement, lead generation, and bookings

YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
• Strong ability to manage vertically within the organization
• Able to correlate the company strategy to what the alliances team should prioritize
• Ability to manage and shift the team's capacity at a regular cadence
• Shows passion for debating to ensure we are getting to the best decisions
• Can work internally and externally to execute change management effectively
• 3+ years experience in partnerships in the healthcare technology sector
• 3+ Experience in a SaaS business
• 3+ years experience in contract management and negotiation
• Prior experience engaging with Executive levels on business and partner development
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAVE:
• 5+ years experience in partnerships in the healthcare technology sector
• 5+ years of business development experience in partnerships
• 3-5 years specifically in managing content or referral partnerships
• 5+ Experience in a SaaS business
