Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the Talent Acquisition (TA) team. This position will be responsible for managing the TA shared inbox, assisting with I-9 compliance activities, supporting the processing of hires, and contributing to special projects to improve recruitment operations.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience providing administrative, clerical, or customer service support in an office environment.

- Coordinates pre-boarding paperwork for new hires including offer letters, tax forms, direct deposit, I9 documentation and all necessary paperwork for onboarding
- Conducts background/social media/ motor vehicle/credit and additional checks through third party vendor for all new hires
- Schedules drug screening and physicals as needed
- Coordinates all pre-boarding activities for Recruiters to ensure a seamless transition from candidate to new hire
- Partners with internal recruiters and hiring managers to coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates
- Prepares and updates job descriptions for external postings aligned to the hiring managers and business needs
- Partners with Employment Coordinator, Hiring Managers or support staff to ensure all new hire paperwork is completed and accurate
- Participates in recruiting events, such as career fairs, preparing information packets, and gathering information from suitable candidates
- Successful creation and execution of sourcing strategies in partnership with our hiring leaders
- Creates and maintains meaningful reports that drive talent acquisition decisions
- Conducts phone interviews for Recruiters as needed
- Act as backup for New Hire Orientation as needed
- Demonstrates and maintains a positive, professional manner, manages time efficiently and effectively, provides leadership as a role model to promote a team approach, collaborates and participates in policy creation and appropriate problem solving methods.
- Must adhere to all policies, procedures, terms and conditions set forth in the National Church Residences' Employee Information Guide (EIG), the Code of Conduct, as well as any facility handbook, including but not limited to, corporate compliance, drug free workplace, safe work practices, all federal, state, local regulations and laws.
- With respect to Resident Rights, ensures all care is provided with respect and dignity for the residents/clients, their families and the staff. Reports all complaints made by residents/clients and/or families to the appropriate supervisors, reports all allegations of abuse, misappropriation of funds/resident property and/or any other corporate compliance, drug free workplace, safe work practices, all federal, state and local regulations and laws.
- Completes all annual education requirements timely, including but not limited to Compliance, Privacy, Security and HIPAA training and exhibits behavior as set forth by the Code of Conduct in the performance of their duties.

Responsibilities

The work environment for this position is a typical office environment with occasional construction site visits. When in the office, the physical demands require the ability to sit for long periods of time.
