Summary:
As a Manager of Innovation & Strategy, you will lead improvement projects and training programs with cross-organizational scope and complexity. You will develop and manage internal training programs (LSS - Lean Six Sigma, DX - Digital Transformation, etc.) and coach LGESMI team members in LSS and DX tools, methods, and project implementation. Working in the Innovation & Strategy Team, you will be a part of leading a business transformation towards building an intelligent manufacturing facility enabled by Industry 4.0 smart technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute long- and short-term engineering and business strategic plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
- Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of small- to large-scale projects including, but not limited to battery manufacturing, smart technology, and process improvement
- Manage and execute training sessions (Lean Six Sigma, and Digital Transformation) and their progress, and assist employees in applying the appropriate tools in their work area
- Communicate with senior management (Directors and Executives) to keep projects aligned with current business initiatives and goals
- Evaluate project performance and support monthly/quarterly/yearly employee award programs.
- Assist LGESMI Team Leaders in any strategic initiative that will help in compliance to standards & goals
- Implement future LG systems, and design creative solutions that will continuously improve the plant performance
- Compile and disseminate focal communication, team/company progress and leadership vision via PowerPoint, Excel, or Business Intelligence Reporting methods at the individual, team and organizational levels
- Build and develop self-driven process improvement & innovation culture plant-wide
- Other tasks as assigned to contribute to the Innovation & Strategy Team's mission of building an intelligent manufacturing facility
