Our customer in Dixon, Illinois is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join their team. We’re recruiting a Shipping and Receiving Associate to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for moving, delivering, and pulling parts, along with supporting shipping and receiving operations in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities of the Shipping and Receiving Associate:

• Accurately pull, move, and deliver parts to designated locations

Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

Conveys materials and products from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas.

Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, pallets, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.

Reads customer load orders or load out sheets for merchandise or feed products and assembles orders from stock by placing orders on pallets or wheeler and loading on the customers vehicle or a trailer.

Take quarterly inventory.

Rebag broken bags of feed products.

Keep warehouse, dock, and grounds swept and picked-up.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud due to forklifts and trucks but it is not an area that would require ear protection.

**_Responsibilities_**
+ Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
+ Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
+ Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
+ Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.
