Receives, labels, stores and issues chargeable and non-chargeable patient care materials/supplies to meet department needs. Performs basic computerized inventory functions such as cycle counting as well as simple modifications to computerized inventory equipment. Maintains inventories to PAR levels; assists with establishing, reviewing and revising PAR levels. Keeps supplies in order at all times, rotates supplies per established procedure, removes and disposes of outdated supplies, and transports supplies as assigned. Cleans inventory equipment. Assists in moving supplies to areas as directed, rearranges stock in bulk storage as assigned, lifts according to weight requirements utilizing manual or mechanical means. Fills requisitions, delivers supplies to assigned patient care/non-patient care areas as required. Accurately maintains, tallies, verifies and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
