Work is performed primarily in a shop environment with occasional travel to customer locations to provide service on panel shop products. You will work around electricity and other potential hazards requiring appropriate safety equipment and practices at all times.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Essential Job Functions:
· Safely operate electrical related hand tools and small power tools
· Use safe work practices when working with energized panels during testing
· Modify enclosures and back panels per cutout drawings
· Modify parameters/settings of automation products used in industrial control panels

As our Control Panel Technician, you will build the panels that keep our business alive. You will build complex electrical control panels that control the movement of water to cities, municipalities, and homes for our water and wastewater industry Clients.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Assembling and wiring control panels utilizing blueprints, schematics, and a bill of materials
+ Produce and assure custom panels meet customer specifications as directed by team leader
+ Assure Custom Panel products are shipped as expected by the customer.
+ Review work for errors prior to releasing to Quality Control.
+ Provide marked up documentation for any errors detected during build and any suggestions for improvements.
+ Implement Custom Panel product cost reductions and be actively involved in a process of ongoing improvement for the area.
**Qualifications:**
+ **MUST** have experience working off blueprints and schematics.
+ **Have** knowledge in electrical theory, measurement skills, and light metal fabrication.
+ Must be able to lift/push/pull (maximum 50 pounds individually).

**Job Description**
Join our team as a Control Panel Technician, where you'll be responsible for the assembly of electrical enclosures used for the measurement and control of hydrocarbon and chemical products, as well as power and water applications.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble electrical enclosures according to our standards and practices.
+ Mount electronic control hardware into enclosures.
+ Terminate input and output signals from the control hardware to termination blocks.
+ Accurately measure wire lengths and strip insulation for I/O channels.
+ Land wire ends under screw terminals and tighten them securely.
+ Follow detailed schematics and directions for assembly tasks.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in panel wiring and assembly.
+ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
+ Skilled in point-to-point wiring.
+ Experience with hand tools such as wire crimpers, wire strippers, pliers, and cordless drills.
+ General PC skills including knowledge of Word and Outlook.
+ 3+ years of experience in building whole units independently.

In any of these roles, you will assist Clients to keep their technology working and streamlined. Our goal is to create “Exceptional Clients Experiences” at every interaction we have with Clients.
Aptitude is one important trait we are looking for. Are you a quick learner, able to repair things that involve technology? Do you enjoy being a team player and helping others? We are interested in the right candidate with a natural talent or an ability an individual has acquired through life experience, study, training, or your capacity to acquire new skills.
We have entry-level and experienced positions available. Current positions may include Cabling Technicians, Help Desk, Networking Specialist, VolP Specialist, System Administrators and other positions. Whether you are entry level or experienced, we provide training both individual and on the job. Compensation is commensurate with experience, and while prior experience isn't required, previous roles with tech support or related hands experience (even if your hobby) is a plus. The ideal candidates must be highly reliable, have excellent communication skills, and be willing to be a continuous learner.
This position will require reliable internet and a driver's license as you will be assigned a Company vehicle as necessary.
