We are currently seeking a personable, energetic, professional Patient Care Associate to join our outstanding team! The Patient Care Associate is responsible for greeting the patients as they enter the practice, check-in, check-out, scheduling, and other administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
What You Will Do:
- Greeting patients professionally, both in person and on the phone
- Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues
- Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
- Notifying providers of patient arrivals
- Comforting patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions
- Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records
- Verifying financial records and collecting patient charges while filing and expediting third-party claims
- Maintaining office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and expediting supply orders
- Provide excellent customer service
What You Will Bring:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Detail-oriented and ability to multitask
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records software is a plus.
- Experience in healthcare is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus

How you will change lives As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at US Renal Care, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team providing care and delegated activities of treatment to patients. The PCT will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN) for patients with renal failure. What you'll be doing Patient care. You will work directly with patients to provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment. Responsibilities include gathering patient stats before and after treatment, initiating treatment, monitoring patients during treatment, terminating treatment, and collecting patient blood samples per physician orders. Technician Duties. You will ensure quality comes first by preparing machines for hemodialysis treatments, cleaning and disinfecting machines after treatment, and conducting machine safety checks and logging results for quality control, ensuring all protocols and regulations are followed. Safety and Quality. You will use appropriate safety measures, including personal protective equipment. Working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, you will adhere to all company policies, procedures, and state/federal laws and regulations. Job Description
This position is contingent on contract award.
Soldier Medical Devices (SMD), Force Integration Division (FID), provides medical materiel support to all Army components facilitating optimal healthcare and worldwide medical readiness through; the procurement, assembly, and distribution of medical equipment and Medical Materiel Sets, Kits, Outfits (SKOs), the disassembly of previously fielded medical materiel and equipment, the management of excess medical materiel, the provision of disposition instructions, the management of on-hand medical materiel inventory, and the provision of technical assistance for medical materiel sustainment operations including training on Army automated logistics systems.
The Logistics Analyst IV Assistance Rep, Medical Liaison Support (LNO) is responsible to provide medical logistics assistance support to units and facilitate the delivery of medical sustainment technical guidance while maintaining close coordination with PEOS, PM SMD, other MED Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) liaisons, local stakeholders, and local support agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the delivery of medical sustainment technical guidance to supported units.
- Maintain close coordination with command liaisons, local stake holders, and local support agencies.
- Coordinate maintenance requirements with supported units and local support agencies.
- Coordinate Class VIII re-supply requirements with supported units and local support agencies.
- Coordinate and assist in developing requirement estimates and resource recommendations for supported units.
- Assist PEOS, PM SMD Regional Managers with coordinating on-site infrastructure, materiel handling support and unit synchronization for fielding missions with in assigned AOR.
- Coordinate with gaining and supporting units, and PEOS, PM SMD s Force Integration Directorate regarding scheduled missions to facilitate, define, and validate all support requirements and estimates for manpower, travel costs, and trip lengths in order to meet all mission requirements.
- Provide monthly and quarterly status reports that include work planned, completed, and analysis on supported unit impact.
- Facilitate the delivery of medical sustainment technical guidance to supported units while maintaining close coordination with PEOS, PM SMD, other MED LCMC Logistics Assistance Representatives (LAR), local stakeholders, and local support agencies.
- Advise units on equipment repair and return actions between supported units and USAMMA's three Medical Maintenance Depots.
- Provide analysis and recommendation on courses of action for medical materiel and equipment procurement strategies and Class VIII re-supply requirements.
- Provide analysis, coordination and assistance in the development of materiel requirement estimates and resource recommendations for projected fielding initiatives.
- Assist PEOS, PM SMD Regional Managers with coordinating on-site infrastructure, materiel handling support and unit synchronization for fielding missions within assigned Regional Manager/LNO AORs.
- Provide liaison support and assistance between the PEOS, PM SMD FID and gaining Commands in coordination of all scheduled fielding project requirements, to include project definition, facilitation, resource validation, estimates for manpower, travel costs, schedule requirements and synchronization.
- Execute handoff of medical equipment to gaining units in respective regions on behalf of the Regional Managers when applicable.
- Conduct Fault Systems Analysis toward identified medical materiel support issues emerging in the field.
- Provide problem statements with supported research, analysis, and course of action recommendations for decision support solutions.
- Provide liaison support services between the PEOS, PM SMD FID and Army Medical Materiel Centers in support of health logistics support planning to globally deployed supported units.
- Provide liaison support services between the PEOS, PM SMD FID and globally located medical contingency support activities and exercises.
- Provide support to PEOS, Soldier and PEOS, PM SMD experimentation teams as needed.
- Assist in the development, publication, distribution, and archive management of Mission Support Plan agreements and supported documentation with gaining commands, supported units and organizations.
- Provide subject matter expertise and technical, administrative, editorial, and graphics assistance as necessary for the purpose of preparing special reports; studies; analyses; and briefing papers on various process matters related to FID business support operations.
- Provide subject matter expertise to all echelons on current medical regulations and policy, emerging medical initiatives, materiel updates, scheduled projects, and materiel procurement status.
- Provide training to supported units on web based medical materiel readiness and sustainment tools, medical set sustainment, medical materiel procurement, and materiel inventory.
- Provide liaison support services between the PEOS, PM SMD FID and Major Component Commands regarding PEOS, PM SMD current business practices and forecasted project schedules to supported units.
- Assist supported units in the development, staffing and resolution of materiel issues in the field, to include materiel after action reviews.
- Provide administrative support to the PEOS, PM SMD FID, to include but not limited to, customer support, fielding project portfolio management, development and distribution of PEOS, PM SMD policies and directives, classified deployment analysis and requirements tracking, and requested research and analysis toward emerging directorate initiatives.
- Provide Medical Logistics Assistance Support to Units in need. Provide Monthly Logistics Assistance Workload Report.
- Travel nationally and internationally as the program requires.
- Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements/Certifications:
- Six (6) years of prior medical logistics required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, to include MS Outlook, MS Project and MS Access.
- Experience with Theatre Enterprise-Wide Logistics System (TEWLS), LOGICOL System, Army Enterprise System Integrations Program (AESIP), Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), Lead Material Integrator Decision Support Tool (LMI-DST) and Medical Materiel Mobilization Planning Tool (M3PT) is desired.
- Prior experience as a field or Company Grade Medical Service Corps Officer with medical logistics experience, Senior Medical NCO E-7 and above with property book management experience.
- Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritizes and execute against multiple priorities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of databases and spreadsheets.
- Extensive fundamental knowledge of logistics and supply principles and supply chain management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent data entry skills.
- Associate's degree Health Care Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field required
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment, and outdoors with exposure to environmental heat, humidity, sunshine, rain, and wind.
- Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
- May require bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely negotiate flights of stairs.
- Ability to obtain required government security secret clearance.
- US citizen.
- Valid US Passport with at least 18 months before expiration date.
Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicants background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
Compensation: Min: $70,000 Max: $60,000
