Position Summary :
The Payment Processing Team Manager is responsible for supporting, maintaining and monitoring the cash posting activities to ensure timely and accurate application to consumer automobile loans and in accordance with industry regulations and company policies. Identifies and resolves balance issues resulting from posting activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manages a team of up to five Payment Processors, including performance evaluations and daily oversight.
- Monitors’ payment volume trends to optimize workload distribution and resource allocation.
- Serves as the first-level escalation point for retail and lease payment inquiries.
- Oversee daily cash receipt functions, including payment posting, unapplied items, and research responses.
- Reviews redemptions and adjusts fees as needed in alignment with policy.
- Supports Payment Processors with complex account handling and accounting-related questions.
- Manages escalations related to charges, overpayments, and refunds.
- Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports, including payment activity and paid account summaries.
- Conducts quality audits and ensures payment policies and procedures remain current.
- Maintains access to sensitive consumer data and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

Qualifications Preferred:
