Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional patient care in alignment with clinical protocols and nursing standards.

  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects.

  • Advocate for patient needs and ensure their voices are included in care decisions.

  • Ensure compliance with National Patient Safety Goals and maintain a safe environment.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with nursing best practices.

Specialized Operating Room Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to surgical patients.
  • Scrub in for surgeries, assisting the surgical team and ensuring compliance with sterile protocols.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs and conditions throughout surgical procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or completion of student clinical rotations in an acute care setting is required.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Solid understanding of nursing processes and clinical practices.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and communicate findings effectively.
  • Proficient in medication administration and monitoring for side effects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
  • Attention to detail in documenting patient care and maintaining safety standards.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Current RN State Licensure or Compact State Licensure is required.
  • BCLS Certification is required.
