Description:

The Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will sell products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
  • Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
  • Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
  • Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
  • Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
  • Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • At least five years of related experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business preferred or related field, years of experience considered in lieu of degree

**Schedule: Monday - Friday, 12:30PM - 9:00PM EST**
This position can function remotely from anywhere in the United States.
Inside Sales Representatives are accountable for driving pharmaceutical generic product sales to an assigned group of Independent Retail pharmacies. You will prospect to create new partnerships and strengthen relationships with the current customer base.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Call on current and potential pharmacies in an assigned geographical area, for the purpose of converting new business, maintaining current customers and growing markets share.
+ Form long standing customer relationships with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians
+ Convert existing and potential customers' use of targeted products and ensure sustained and expanded sales of these products.
+ Identify market intelligence on competitive activity, communicate to appropriate internal resources in a timely manner; develop and implement sales plans to meet business goals.
+ Create and maintain real-time database of market intelligence and sales activity utilizing automated customer relationship and sales management system.
+ Perform other job-related duties as requested and works effectively with other team members to ensure the goals and objectives of the organization are met.
+ Participate in projects and other initiatives inside and/or outside of the assigned area, department or business unit, as needed.
+ Achieve assigned sales goals and customer contact frequency
+ Demonstrate positive interactions with customers and team members

**_Qualifications_**
+ Bachelor's degree preferred
+ 1-2 years proven outside or inside sales experience preferred
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications preferred

**_What is expected of you for success in this role_**
+ Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Cardinal Health and customer industry, including: key competitors, terminology, technology, challenges, reimbursement and demonstrates basic knowledge of customers' unique business needs related to Cardinal Health offerings; demonstrates working knowledge of how Cardinal Health offerings match with a customers' unique business needs
+ Initiate introductory customer calls with the objective of developing a long-term business relationship
+ Maximize customer relationships through timely routine contact with both new and existing customers
+ Initiate and take ownership of principles of territory management, including: account planning, selling processes, post-sales implementation processes, deal economics
+ Effectively negotiate and collaborate with customers and colleagues to influence support for mutually beneficial outcomes
+ Consult with supervisor or senior peers on complex and unusual problems
+ Functional knowledge of current applicable computer operating systems, and computer software/hardware processes and procedures.
**Pay rate:** $24.00 per hour + incentive plan eligibility

**Senior Manager Process Development (PD) - Drug Product (DP)**
**What you will do**
Let's do this. Let's change the world! In this vital leadership role, you will oversee the Drug Product Process Development organization at AML. You will be responsible for providing strategic and technical leadership across a broad portfolio of commercial and development-stage drug product operations. You will also lead a high-performing team of scientists and engineers to drive innovation in drug product manufacturing, enhance commercial processes, and ensure the highest standards of quality and delivery to meet patient needs.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Lead and direct the Drug Product Process Development organization, including planning, coordinating, and executing technical service activities.
+ Support lifecycle management of commercial drug products through continuous process improvement and technical oversight.
+ Manage day-to-day operations support including deviation investigations, process monitoring, regulatory inspections, and quality initiatives.
+ Collaborate with site leadership, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and global stakeholders to align on priorities and ensure execution excellence.
+ Set functional objectives, prioritize team efforts, and ensure delivery on project timelines and operational goals.
+ Develop and manage departmental budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocations.
+ Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management for direct reports and staff within the function.
+ Oversee successful execution of validations and technology transfers for new product introductions.

Doctorate degree & 2 years of Process Development, Quality and/or Manufacturing support industry experience
OR
Master's degree & 6 years of Process Development, Quality and/or direct Manufacturing support industry experience
OR
Bachelor's degree & 8 years of Process Development, Quality and/or direct Manufacturing support industry experience
OR
Associate's degree and 10 years of Process Development, Quality and/or direct Manufacturing support industry experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Process Development, Quality and/or direct Manufacturing support industry experience
And
In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above.
**Beyond that, additional** **preferred qualifications** **are:**
+ Advanced degree in Life Sciences or Engineering.
+ Demonstrated leadership experience guiding technical teams, including direct oversight of resource planning and allocation.
+ Understanding/experience on commercial equipment such as formulation tanks, depyrogenation tunnels, filling lines, isolators, vial washer, capper, and others.
+ Expertise with filling (Syringes/Vials) process characterization and/or validation.
+ Familiarity with analytical methods and protein science.
+ Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and software such as JMP and/or Minitab.
+ Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with senior leaders and cross-functional partners with experience working with multiple functional areas.
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively.
