**Responsibilities**
**Position Summary:**
While supporting the goals and objectives of the hospital and upholding the ethics of the profession of pharmacy, the Manager Clinical Pharmacy facilitates the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies. This position serves as a professional practice leader, educator, and mentor and has an advanced practice role functioning as a clinical specialist both within the pharmacy and within interdisciplinary teams. The position will report to the Director of Pharmacy. This position will play a key role in managing operations, logistics, finance, safety, and risk management for the pharmacy department.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you are responsible for the safe, effective, evidence-based, and cost-effective selection and utilization of medications for the patients you serve. You will utilize your advanced pharmacist knowledge, skills, and professional judgment in all aspects of your work. + Prepares and dispenses medication orders per physician request according to established policies, procedures, and protocols

The Clinical Pharmacy Manager creates continuing education programs for the pharmacy and/or the hospital, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach.
