POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Physicians see an average of 20 patients per day with the support of on-site sonographers and clinical assistants, who also help with charting and documentation.

Specific duties of the physician role include:

- consultations
- follow-up visits
- VenaSeal
- ClariVein
- radiofrequency ablation
- laser ablation
- sclerotherapy

The practice sees patients for, among other conditions:

- varicose veins
- leg swelling / heaviness
- spider veins
- restless leg syndrome
- venous insufficiency

The practice uses the NextTech EHR.

There are no on-call, evening, or weekend duties, providing excellent work/life balance.

The practice is currently hiring due to growth and is seeking physicians who are entrepreneurially-minded and want to help lead expansion into new territories. • Become part of a cohesive and long-standing team of Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians and APPs with a diverse mix of ICU clinical practice time and pulmonary consultation at Texas Health Dallas.
• Work alongside our team of physicians and APPs to care for patients in the 24-bed medical and 12-bed surgical unit with cardio and cardiovascular patients. The hospital is a Level II trauma hospital and comprehensive stroke center. APPs also cover 1 LTAC and 1 rehab facility. This position is a mix of ICU patient care and pulmonary consultation.

Qualifications:

• Certified Physician Assistant
• Prior ICU APP practice experience with ICU procedure experience (thoracentesis, chest tubes, central lines, intubation)
• Authorized to work in the United States

Scheduling:

• 12-hour PRN nocturnist shift
