**JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE**
Provide a range of market and technical analyses to support the Entergy Operating Companies in the formulation of generation portfolio strategies and the evaluation of specific generation supply alternatives and transactions to achieve strategic objectives; Support related corporate investment approval processes and regulatory processes (e.g., certification hearings).
**JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Decision Support Analysis**
+ Support development of driver-based spreadsheet models to measure market value and customer economics of generation supply alternatives
+ Conduct analyses (relying on these models as well as specialized software such as production cost models) to assess the economic value and customer benefits of alternative generation resources (i.e., capital investment and contracts)
+ Develop recommendations regarding specific proposed transactions
+ Support corporate investment approval process relating to generation supply transactions
**Market Analytics**
+ Monitor and forecast market conditions in relevant power markets
+ Forecast power prices (energy and capacity)
+ Monitor market mechanics (e.g., MISO practices and protocols)
+ Assess implications of current and projected market conditions on the Entergy Operating Companies' generation supply strategies
+ Support formulation of appropriate supply strategy recommendations
**Regulatory Support**
+ Communicate with external stakeholders such as State Commission and staffs regarding generation supply matters including in the context of formal integrated resource planning processes
+ Support regulatory proceedings (e.g., Certifications) including preparation of filed testimony and responses to discovery requests.
**Technical Coordination and Integration**
+ Participate with internal and external subject matter experts on efforts to ensure that opportunities relating to alternatives such as demand-side management, distributed generation, non-utility scale renewables, and energy storage are appropriately reflected in generation portfolio plans and strategies.
+ Participate on cross-function efforts with the Transmission Planning Organization to achieve integrated planning solutions that optimally meet planning objectives; Support analyses to assess the trade-offs and synergies between generation and transmission alternatives
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum education required:**
+ BS/BA in a technical field such as Engineering, Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Accounting

The role of the Maintenance Planner is to improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. While maintaining liaison between Operations and Maintenance, the planner is responsible for planning and coordination of all plannable maintenance work performed within the site.

TARGETED OUTCOMES
  • Prepare effective job plans to ensure maintenance work is completed on time, according to the schedule.
  • Identify and obtain the appropriate resources, necessary tools, proper materials, and equipment to achieve desired performance at right cost.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensuring proper planning of routine maintenance and turnaround work that meets all ES&H requirements (As per OSHA and APM standards).
  • Ensuring all work orders are planned to include Production Requirements, scaffolding, insulation needs, tools/equipment, fabrication needs, outsourcing, company/unit specification requirements, identification of permit requirements, etc., required to execute the work.
  • Field management of contractors and Ascend personnel to assure progress and resolve Job Plan issues.
  • Maintain job plans to assure accuracy and completeness for future use.
  • If a work request is questionable for any reason, review with Gatekeeper/Operations Maintenance Coordinator to determine the need for the work. If a work request is valid, review the equipment / area of the request and gather information needed to perform the repair. (Parts, drawings, lifts, permits, etc.)
  • Ensure all safety, tools, and procedures are included.
  • Visit the job site so all work and needed parts are identified properly.
  • Clarify where, what, when, how work is to be performed.
  • Ensure accuracy of equipment BOM, edit as needed.
  • Help maintain the PM system for area of responsibility, editing jobs, est. hours, frequency, adding new PM's, etc. as needed.
  • Identify part discrepancies, additional work needed, work task edits, reoccurring problems in area of responsibility through review of complete work orders in order to build standard task lists.
  • Adhere to Management Operating System (MOS), including Short Interval Controls (SIC) and any Standard Work, prepared to review area of responsibility's backlog, PM's, requests, etc.
  • Interfacing with Production, Capital Projects, Core Maintenance and other Maintenance personnel to coordinate and assist with development of job plans.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • 5 applicable years of experience in the maintenance/operations field OR at least 5 years of Planning experience/or equivalent coordinating and executing maintenance activities.
  • Must have demonstrated mechanical ability or aptitude, initiative, self-direction and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Maintenance
  • Understanding of World Class Maintenance principles; Process Safety Management including Management of Change process, Contractor ES&H Guidelines, and Procurement procedures to assure compliance.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • The following computer experience is highly desirable: Prometheus; Template planning and estimating software; MS Word, Excel, and Project; SAP data entry, procurement, parts specification retrieval, history and reliability analysis.
  • Working experience and knowledge of environmental, safety, and health guidelines, policies, and procedures as they relate to regulatory compliance; HRP, and MOC process.

As a Facilities Planning Specialist , you will get the opportunity to travel with a collective team of assessment professionals to perform condition assessments of facilities assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage data collection for multiple members (clients).

  • Discovery meetings with clients including gathering data pieces from primary contacts on-site that include walk-throughs, presentation delivery to campus leadership, and building assessments

  • Processing data and analysis of collected data using Excel and other tools

  • Communicating with campus representatives and teammates to understand the institution's goals as well as its data

  • Reviewing data to answer questions like: What story do the numbers tell? What campus problems can the data help solve?

  • Developing presentations to communicate the campus story, suggest strategic plans and cultivate engagement in Gordian's recommendations and partnering with Project Leads and Account Managers to create and fine-tune presentations

  • Assist in delivering presentations to members on campus

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Analytical skills - the ability to have numbers "tell a story"

  • Proven success working as both a leader and a learner in a team environment

  • The ability to identify project challenges, when to escalate them and when to solve them independently

  • Experience in Facilities Planning and/or Planning and Construction are a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • The ability to travel up to 50%

  • Physical requirements for this role include the ability to move effectively around a campus environment for 6-8 hours per day at times, as well as the ability to occasionally ascend/descend a ladder and/or work in outdoor weather conditions as many as several times a month

Overview of the Role
  • The candidate will act as liaison between C.A. Carlin's Sales Team and select clients' trade finance teams to ensure timely and accurate entry of customer promotions. Planning Specialist

The Planning Specialist works to protect the Tribe's cultural and archaeological resources from potential and actual impacts to their integrity, on and off the reservation. Under the direction and supervision of the Cultural Committee, Director, and Tribal Council, the Planning Specialist is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing cultural resource issues of concern to the Tribe. The Planning Specialist takes measures to protect the resources in accordance with the Tribe's policies, practices and customs by utilizing applicable laws and working with governmental agencies, environmental consultants, archaeologists, project applicants and legal counsel. The Planning Specialist provides electronic tracking of departmental projects using known cultural site knowledge, archaeological studies, and parcel data information provided by Federal, State, and Local Lead Agencies.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Prepare official comments on behalf of the Tribe concerning development projects, land use projects, improvement projects, and any other projects as designated by the Director and Tribal Council, that impact the Tribe's cultural resources.
  • Review of site plans, technical reports for due diligence issues (i.e., jurisdiction processing, development and design standards and existing site and development constraints) and assess the potential issues with all environmental documents and technical reports.
  • Provide suggestions and design changes that will assist in accomplishing goals of preserving and avoiding known cultural resources.
  • Utilization of knowledge and experience working with Section 106 (National Historical Preservation Act), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), AB (Assembly Bill) 52, SB (Senate Bill) 18, and California Environment Quality Act (CEQA) and Surface Mining and Reclamation Act (SMARA).
  • Review and analyze environmental documents, site plans, grading plans, and other documents pertaining to cultural resources that the Tribe's receives.
  • Review and analyze projects Mitigated Negative Declaration/ Environmental Impact Reports, conditions of approvals and provide comments and proposed revisions based upon projects impacts
  • Review, comment and tract Tower Construction Notification System (TCNS) notices, tract review fees and prepare report for Director and to be used by THPO yearly report.
  • Prepare, review and edit conservation easement, master service agreements, memorandum of agreements, programmatic agreements documents related to preservation of cultural resources.
  • Work with the Tribe's GIS Department to create, update and maintain maps of cultural resources and culturally sensitive areas, on and off the reservation.
  • Attend public meetings, hearings and other gatherings pertaining to cultural resources.
  • Provide official testimony at public meetings, hearings and other gatherings.
  • Meet with Local, State and Federal representatives regarding the protection and preservation of cultural resources.
  • Open and review mail to determine any applicable deadlines and follow up required with lead agencies as it pertains to information on availability of site plans, technical reports, environmental documents, other associated documents, and information.
  • Assist with tracking projects with all relevant lead agencies in the Tribe's territory, including updates on the status of the project, availability of environmental documents, comment due dates, public hearings and any other related deadlines.
  • Attend and present at conferences regarding planning and cultural topics.
  • Provide planning guidance on internal Pechanga projects

Qualifications, Education And Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Planning, Archaeology, Native American Studies, or History required with a Master's degree preferred.
  • Three (3) years in governmental agency and five (5) years in private industry experience as an urban planner/project manager preferred.
  • Must have knowledge and experience with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), National Environmental Protection Plan (NEPA), Section 106 (National Historical Preservation Act), California SB (Senate Bill) 18, and California SB (Senate Bill) 52, Surface Mining and Reclamation Act (SMARA), and other state and federal laws related to cultural resources protection.
  • Experience and working knowledge of: zoning and subdivision laws; principles of land use planning and development, comprehensive plan including their formation, process of adoption, and implementation; planning programs and processes to communicate effectively with Lead Agencies to protect and preserve cultural resources.
  • Must have experience reading maps, including 3.5-minute topographic maps and Google Earth required.
  • Experience providing standard writing samples in related field.
  • Experience and working knowledge of planning related software and GIS applications.
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Management)
  • This position must comply with the Pechanga Tribal Government's Drug-Free Workplace Policy. This includes: pre-employment testing and random testing.
