ABOUT THE POSITION / DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our company is looking for Residential Service Plumbers in the Los Angeles, CA and surrounding areas to assist our residential and/or commercial customers in taking advantage of the latest plumbing technology in their properties.
You will be responsible for installing smart devices on plumbing systems and educating customers how these devices prevent water damage in their homes with top of the line customer interactions. Devices include the Flo by Moen systems, Flume monitors, Notion kits, Phyn systems, FloLogic and Leak Defense products, as well as various new risk mitigating technologies that enter the market.
Our ideal candidates range in years of plumbing experience, but know how to focus on positive customer experience. You must be familiar with various types of water supply systems and know how to perform basic fixture, valve and/or appliance installations. Depending upon experience level, you may be able to help train, and lead junior team members out in the field to usher in the new generation of plumbing.
Tools, cell phone, parts & materials, and a uniform will be provided.

**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Construction Manager** to join our **Wastewater Systems team in Los Angeles** ! In this role you will get to lead a team of professionals to provide construction management services on **large-scale water and wastewater projects or programs** in **Southern California.**
The **Senior Construction Manager** provides planning, staffing, coordination, and direction for construction management services to meet contractual requirements and confer with contractors regarding compliance with plans and specifications, contract terms and conditions, and quality of work from initial project identification through startup and construction closeout. May hire, assign, and supervise resident engineers, inspectors, and other assigned staff. The Senior Construction Manager also supports business development activities to grow the practice.

**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Collaborate with business development to identify, market and secure new projects.
+ You will function as a Company's representative with clients and select resident engineering, inspection staff, and other resources during execution of a project or program.
+ Plan, direct, supervise, and manage the execution of all technical, manpower resources, fiscal, and administrative functions of assigned projects. Assign responsibility for executing project plans to subordinates and assures compliance.
+ Work with project individuals to devise and execute actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work. Advises the client and company management of any such changes.
+ Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and subcontractors. Follow up on contractual requirements and commitments associated with the project. Participate in negotiations with contractors in support of clients.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Accomplished senior level construction manager/program manager with experience in managing and leading a complex team, including, but not limited to, resident engineering, contract management, project controls, risk management, public outreach/communications, and health and safety management.
+ 4-year degree in engineering or construction management-related field (or equivalent construction management-related work experience).
+ A master's degree in construction engineering or construction management is desirable.
+ Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California or a Certified Construction Manager is preferred.
+ 15 to 20 years or more of experience in field construction on public works projects with a solid focus on water and wastewater treatment and conveyance facilities, preferably in California.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage large water and wastewater treatment and conveyance projects, including resolution of disputes and mitigation of risks. Experience with large-scale construction management programs is desirable.
+ Experience as a **construction manager on at least one complex water or wastewater infrastructure program/project with a construction value of $100 million or more in past 15 years** is preferred.
+ Recent construction management experience within past 5 years in construction of water or wastewater facilities using alternative project delivery methods, including Progressive Design-Build (PDB) and Construction Management At Risk (CMAR) is highly desirable
