**A Typical Work Day May Include:**

+ Completing preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility, with limited direction.

+ Leverage knowledge and ability to operate 1 or 2 standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools and preventative maintenance technology tools.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician will be tasked with responding to all service requests and maintenance needs of the company. This will include troubleshooting and making repairs in a timely manner to all facets of maintenance including but not limited to fuel dispenser repair, light plumbing, light electrical, equipment delivery, preventative maintenance, and general construction. Communication with store personnel, maintenance supervisor, and other servicemen about job progress and completion is imperative. Maintain an on-call rotation which consists of approximately one week per month to provide service during non-regular working hours. All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform service and preventative maintenance for company equipment including, but not limited to, refrigeration equipment, fuel pumps, deli grills, fountain drink dispensers, and plumbing
  • Be able to troubleshoot electrical components and read wiring diagrams
  • Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts
  • Maintain a company vehicle to manufacturer specifications
  • Participate in the on-call rotation that provides service to the store group after normal business hours and on weekends
  • Adhere to the work schedule as posted unless a change in schedule is arranged with the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with other team members and members of management
  • Maintain safety standards and comply with the company safety policies
  • Ensure compliance with all safety codes
  • Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the culture and values of the company
  • Adheres to all city, county, state and federal laws and regulations while driving

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of repair, maintenance, and installation techniques
  • Knowledge of and ability to operate basic tools and machinery
  • HVAC certification preferred but not required
  • Excellent driving record

Job Responsibilities

Management and Operations
  • Coordinate the operational aspects of the property in a manner which protects, maintains and improves the value of the owner's asset.
  • Implement and monitor hazard control and team safety practices, ensure compliance with local codes and regulation and pass the compliance portion of the operations audit.
  • Implement preventive, ongoing and anticipated maintenance/repair programs.

Skills and Knowledge

Education/training - Associate degree, or some vocational/technical training required, Bachelor's degree preferred

Years of relevant experience - Two to three years in the property management industry. Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Must have the ability to communicate effectively, supervise, train, and direct three or more employees. Experience with shipping mall property management a plus.

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat-Rate) for our growing team.

We are ideally looking for someone with advanced diagnostic and repair skills for Recreational Vehicle (RV) coach systems, generators and coach body repairs. Someone who is passionate about fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems would be ideal. A successful Recreational Vehicle (RV) Technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated and well-versed in all maintenance and repairs. Camping World will pay to certify individuals not already certified. If you have experience in Any or all of these following fields .we want to talk to you: Plumbing-Carpentry-HVAC-Electrical-Mechanical-RV Service.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers

  • Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance

  • Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements

  • Keep supervisor appraised of work progress

  • Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee

  • Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers

What You'll Need to Have for the Role:

  • Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is certainly helpful but, we also consider applicable work experience

  • Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred

  • RVIA certification helpful but not required RVIA certification helpful but not required

  • Potential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment

  • Possible exposure to environmental conditions including heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness

  • Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling and bending

  • Must furnish own hand/shop tools

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices

  • Valid driver's license

  • May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices

  • Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending

  • Exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment

  • Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness

General Compensation Disclosure

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below.

Pay Range:

$22.00-$38.00 Hourly

Overview:

-The maintenance technician plays an essential, behind-the-scenes role in the car wash operation. Our technicians need to have Mechanical aptitude, ability, and desire to learn with some of the most advanced carwash equipment and technology in the industry.

-Excited to train the right candidate with the mindset and skills who can prove themselves independent, hardworking, and preform top quality task day in and day out.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Operate and maintain hand and power tools, welders, crimpers heavy machinery and more
  • Performing preventative maintenance to minimize possible machine failure
  • Complete and maintain records of active work orders across several sites through a digital data base
  • Work in routine and emergency situations
  • Perform a variety of task requiring electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic knowledge
  • Complete all work following safety regulations and protocols
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Car wash experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience with tools and heavy machinery
  • Desired experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, hydraulic, pneumatic, and general maintenance
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule including urgent needs. Few maintenances tasks will require after or before business hours work to safely perform the task
  • Willing to travel if needed for short extents of time for projects or training
  • Must be able to perform under physical demands
    • Lift and carry 50+ lbs
    • Bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders
    • Walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Driver's license with a clean driving record
