About the Team:

The Supply Chain Director supports engineering and production teams with the development and execution of sourcing plans. As the Supply Chain Director, this individual will be responsible for managing a team of sourcing engineers and subcontract managers who will be the central point of contact for all supply chain needs in the product development process internally and externally. In this role, you will work with engineering, product program office and the broader production leadership team to support strategic sourcing initiatives and planning in pursuit of program and manufacturing goals, and lead cross-functional projects to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

* Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with overall business goals, aiming for supply continuity, quality, efficiency and cost optimization while enabling the business to scale significantly.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
* Negotiate complex commercial terms with suppliers directly to establish best-in-class pricing, quality, flexibility, delivery, payment, warranty, and service terms.
* Collaborate with other supply chain experts across the company to develop and execute supply chain best practices.
* Collaborate internally with key cross functional leadership teams (e.g., engineering, program management, finance, business line.etc.) to negotiate the right tradeoffs, solicit cooperation and resolve problems proactively.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain health and drive improvements.
* Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and provide regular reports to management on supply chain performance.
* Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and support. Hire world class talent to continue the rapid expansion of the existing team.
* Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to the supply chain, such as disruptions to supply or changes in market conditions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field.
* 10+ years experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment specifically in a supply chain or production-related role focused on complex mechanical and/or electrical assembly. At least 5+ years experience in a leadership position.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
* Ability to travel up to 20%.
* Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* MBA or Master's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field.
* Previous experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or another related industry.
* Proven leadership in driving and influencing large teams toward common goals.
* Strong team player who can adapt to different roles to support team progress, including individual contributor tasks while managing a small team.

US Salary Range

$180,000-$270,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Position Overview:

The Product Sourcing Relationship Coordinator plays a key supporting role in helping the St. Louis Area Foodbank recover food from grocery stores, farms, and agricultural partners. The coordinator will work closely with internal teams and external partners to support food recovery efforts and reduce food waste in our region.

Key Objectives:

  • Assist with increasing food donations from grocery and agricultural sources.
  • Support and maintain donor relationships across Missouri and Illinois.

  • Ensure rescued food meets safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Relationship Coordination:

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a New Product Sourcing Specialist  to join the Data Center Power & Control Division in Canonsburg, PA.

This is a newly created position to help drive business expansion. 

The New Product Sourcing Specialist is responsible for leading and sourcing efforts for new product development (NPD), ensuring cost-effective, timely, and compliant product launches. Reporting to the Director of Global Strategic Sourcing with a dotted line to Engineering, this role requires expertise in supplier management, compliance verification, and project execution. The NPD Sourcing Specialist ensures that all the products are developed and handed over effectively to run efficiently in our factories from new product development to production.

What Will You Do?

  • Conduct RFQ and Analyze quotations from different suppliers, utilizing the (TCO) total cost of ownership tools and the cost of the parts, components, and multisource for risk mitigation and on-time delivery of the project.
  • Issue POs and expedite materials to support NPD launches for an on-time launch.
  • Work with internal teams (product, engineering, operation, sourcing, and purchasing) to implement effective supplier strategies from NPD to product life cycle to minimize supply risk for Starline.
  • Work closely with the sourcing team, product development teams, and legal departments to ensure compliance is integrated into the procurement process. Assesses potential suppliers to ensure they have necessary compliance capabilities and certifications.
  • Identify potential compliance risks associated with sourced materials and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Stays updated on evolving environmental and safety regulations and ensures suppliers adhere to them (specifically PFAS).
  • Reviews and verifies material declarations from suppliers, including information on chemical composition and compliance with regulations like REACH or RoHS. Maintains ERP data with up-to-date compliance status.  
  • Negotiate with suppliers for parts and tooling, and project timelines to ensure we launch NPD on time, on cost, and on spec.
  • Update and maintain the Costed Bill of Material (CBOM) for each NPD project.
  • Manage supplier's On Time Delivery (OTD) performance during prototype/development phases (Starline NPD Gates).
  • Manage the PPAP orders for new parts when the PO is placed, quality inspection, operation, and engineering sign-off.
  • Work with production buyers to transfer material purchasing responsibility once the new parts have obtained approved PPAP status.
  • Manage NPD-related ECOs and sustain ECOs that affect new part changes related to the 3-year product plan.
  • Conduct and facilitate technical design reviews with suppliers, in order to confirm the functionality of the part/component and manufacturability to support engineering.
  • Lead for sourcing project updates, including risks and mitigation plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Management or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience purchasing materials
  • Experience of a high concentration in steel, copper, or electronics markets preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • CPM/PMP/APICS (CPIM or CSCP) certification preferred
  • MRP or ERP software experience, Infor Cloud preferred
  • Familiarity with Assent and/or Jagger is a plus.

Overview

THE ROLE:

The Category Manager, Global Product Sourcing will be responsible for leading packaging categories of direct spend across North America with the ability to grow globally. As the corporate authority for specific packaging direct categories, this person will be the point person for supplier communication, pricing, contracts, and strategic commodity supply decision making. The individual selected for this position will lead cross-functional teams and projects for 2-3 global categories to improve total value, generate supply-chain efficiencies, maintain the relationships with strategic supplier partners and introduce supplier innovation and technologies across all Herbalife business units.

In addition, this role will be encouraged to utilize their knowledge to improve and leverage Herbalife's buying power to source materials required for Herbalife's products at a driven rate and streamline material use across key finished goods suppliers.

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

* Lead global cross-functional packaging focused teams on integrating and optimizing the global supply chain for sophisticated categories or commodity groups across world-wide locations.
* Drive long term strategies for global, cross-functional teams to generate supply chain improvement and efficiencies through the optimization of processes, designs, materials, and suppliers.
* Reduce cost on a regular basis and be accountable for realizing $500M - $1MM in related cost savings or cost avoidance per calendar year.
* Develop global business plans and multi-year strategies with key strategic supplier partners to develop product and supply chain innovation and proactively introduce new technologies using key global partners and prospects' full capabilities.
* Support Research & Development through conceptualization and development of new products by providing formula component costing, commodity expertise and supply chain risk assessments.
* Negotiate and implements supply agreements with favorable terms to Herbalife.
* Track market conditions for key commodities and work proactively with suppliers and with finished goods manufacturers to minimize potential cost increases and realize potential cost savings.
* Access and engage executive level contacts at suppliers garnering support for mutual global supply chain initiatives and objectives.
* Lead two-way communication with suppliers in global categories to ensure challenges and issues receive appropriate response and resolution.
* Conduct the supplier segmentation process and negotiate global alignment to leverage spend within the multi-year global commodity strategy.
* Close partnership with Packaging Engineering, ESG, Quality, R&D, Marketing, CI, and Operations.

Working with a team of over 50+ Direct Sourcing colleagues around the world, the team is focused to identify the best opportunity to source for any region, delivering incremental value and external innovation back to the brand and customer. With true global sourcing scale and responsibility, we concentrate to sync process and encourage regular collaboration to source the best Products at a global scale.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

* 7 years of purchasing and procurement experience, of which at least 2 years is specifically in sourcing or category management.
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment leading multiple projects concurrently.
* Consistent track record of exceeding goals in cost savings and supplier performance.
* Experience working in an environment where Sourcing is an influencer rather than a decision maker.
* Strong understanding of Sourcing standard processes and strategies to implement opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation and innovation.
* Strong strategic and analytical skills to develop sophisticated, multi-year strategic business plans for innovation in global categories.
* Well-developed understanding of contract development and negotiation.

EDUCATION

* B.S. Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related field
