Based in our Marshalltown, Iowa location, we are a leading manufacturer of large custom-designed control valves. In this important role, you will be responsible for coordinating processes related to nonconformances, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain production flow.
**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Process and document dispositions for nonconformances (NC) using Oracle and related tools.
+ Coordinate and obtain required approvals for Use As Is (UAI) requests and update records accordingly.
+ Maintain and update the MRB (Material Review Board) Status List in Microsoft Teams to ensure accurate visibility of open nonconformances.
+ Support MRB meetings by presenting NC items, gathering required information, and finalizing documentation.
+ Split work orders as needed in Oracle to isolate nonconforming items and issue new jobs for rework or replacement.
+ Partner with Value Streams, Engineers, and Planners to ensure timely resolution of NCs.
+ Ensure compliance with documented procedures (FMP20A3, FMP20A21, FMP20A22, etc.).
+ Communicate status updates clearly and effectively with stakeholders across departments.

+ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:**

+ In upset conditions, develop and manage the implementation of steam and load shed priorities. Plan and implement short-term operating strategies.
+ Provide primary contact for plant in case of emergency. Primary contact for community issues and complaints.
+ Provide input to plant wide decisions regarding outage planning (water and steam management, waste management, shutdown/startup triggers, etc.). Manage and position tank and chest targets levels for outages and special causes.
+ Lead and/or influence problem resolution. Provide troubleshooting skills in areas of expertise. Provide leadership to summon resources when the team has exhausted all avenues of resolution. Initiate all CFL reviews for their shift.
+ Ensure routine communication is provided to the teams in a timely and quality manner. Celebrate and communicate excellent results.
+ Report production and plant status to teams and other appropriate company resources. Communicate daily, monthly, yearly results to plant as part of daily plan.
+ Implement Small Business Team leadership development plans.

+ Supports the Site Manager with on-the-job training to assure all employees are adequately trained and adhered to policies/procedures.
+ Assures the plant is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
+ Actively participate in sites preventative maintenance program.
+ Operate forklift to perform various responsibilities.
+ Responsible for testing of raw materials and finished products, labeling, record retention, and sample retention in quality laboratory.
+ Responsible for all plant activities and primary plant contact in the best interest of the company during the absence of the Site Manager.
+ Performs other duties as assigned and required by the company.
**Education and Experience**
+ Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ Five or more years' experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent is preferred.
+ One or more years' experience leading a team is preferred.
**Skills and Knowledge**
+ Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve production and quality control issues.
+ Strong commitment to safety is required with experience in EH&S initiatives.
+ Ability to understand and follow all written work instructions, oral instructions, read various measuring devices, and perform basic mathematical calculations.

The Production Coordinator position reports to the Sr. Director of Operations and plays a key role within the Versant Sports Operations team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the production coordination needs of assigned remote Versant Sports broadcasts. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with studio-based colleagues as needed to help manage and facilitate all aspects of event logistics.
Responsibilities:
+ Support Production and Operations teams throughout all phases of production, both on remotes and in-studio.
+ Navigate internal databases and documentation related to broadcast schedules, crewing, and personnel management.
+ Assist with post-event budget reconciliation in coordination with the on-site Production Manager.
+ Manage all travel logistics for Talent, Production staff, and Crew, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation.
+ Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to manage remote and studio logistics, including crewing, scheduling, HR, facilities, IT, catering, and cleaning services.
+ Maintain fiscal responsibility by managing purchase cards and adhering to assigned event budgets.
+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders and broadcast partners to ensure timely delivery of show assets and support event logistics.
+ Provide general administrative support as needed to ensure smooth production operations.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field.
+ Minimum two (2) years' experience in the television/film production business, preferably at a network or production facility.
+ Working knowledge of Excel and Smartsheet's is a plus.
+ Basic knowledge of Sports production

Compiles and records production data for industrial establishment to prepare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of raw material, quality control, and other aspects of production by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintaining assigned sales orders of new designs (new STC), creation of work order to meet OTD.
  • Compiles and records production data from such documents as customer orders, work orders, product specifications and individual worker production sheets
  • Maintains files of documents used and prepared as needed for product certification
  • Compiles, from customer orders and other specifications, detailed production sheet or work orders for use by production workers as guides in assembly or manufacture of product
  • Uses computer to enter, maintain, access or retrieve electronic files, reports or data

  • Evaluates demand to confirm orders and identify issues.

  • Assists in the maintenance of Manufacturing Lead Times (MLT) and production Standard Hours.
  • Assists in make/buy decisions on manufactured parts
  • Responsible for maintaining and reporting on policies and procedures in accordance with AS9100 certification requirements.
