+ Support data collection and development of continuous improvement projects to document line settings.
+ Investigate, research, and reconcile variations on open jobs for job closure.
+ Assist in investigating inventory discrepancies, analyzing root causes, and providing solutions.
+ Support physical inventory processes.
+ Document training, SOP, SSOP, and OPL as provided by operations management.
+ Recommend inventory adjustments for reconciliation to management.
+ Collaborate with production, quality, receiving, and purchasing teams to resolve issues and improve operations.
+ Review processed production records for accuracy and resolve any problems promptly.
+ Perform duties as assigned.

Job Purpose

+ Point of contact for copier support and office supply cabinet inventory

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
To effectively coordinate the daily operation of the production department ensuring all environmental, safety, quality, budget and production targets are being met. Also, achieve maximum optimization on a daily basis.
**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH**
+ Directly coordinates the activities of all production systems at the plant including raw mill, homogenizing silo, precalciner, kiln, cooler, clinker silo, finish mill, and cement shipments to meet marketing and inventory requirements.
+ In the absence of a Distribution Coordinator, directly coordinate activities related to all services including raw materials and fuel receiving, inventory control and finish grinding and cement shipping (truck, rail and barge).
+ Effectively troubleshoot problems in the department and in cooperation with Maintenance, ensure that these problems are repaired quickly to minimize downtime.
+ Evaluate and assess the performance and effectiveness of all direct reports and as required, development of improvement plans.
+ Report and investigate accidents
+ Generate required production information including but not limited to: all reliability data, all daily production data, and various daily diary data
+ Assist the Plant Manager in the development and implementation of equipment checklists, 1st level inspections and production operating procedures to include operating parameters and standard operating procedures
+ Must be able to perform basic process measurements (temperatures, pressures, and air flows, etc.)
+ Maintain and administer weekly work schedules and vacation schedules
+ Assist the Plant Manager in the development and implementation of training plans for production personnel
+ Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
**RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER JOBS**
+ Production Coordinator reports to Plant Manager

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
**Required Education:** Bachelor's/Undergraduate Degree
**Required Work Experience:** 5 years of experience, 3 years as a supervisor in the industry. Good understanding of milling systems and kiln operations.
**Required Computer and Software Skills:** Must have computer skills

+ Leadership capabilities
+ Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Job Description
The Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the incoming and outgoing work orders for the production floor. This position will be responsible for processing the paperwork for work orders and ensuring the data is accurately recorded in the ERP system. Strong working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft Suite products is required.

- Ability to work effectively in a self-directed team setting and ability to solve problems -
- Use safe practices and comply with all company policies, procedures and health, safety and environmental regulations, as required
-Coordinate incoming and outgoing orders on the production floor and record transactions in QAD/Factivity.
- Perform production related calculations to ensure accuracy of information in QAD/Factivity and production control
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the lean philosophy and plant goals
- Strive continuously to achieve and improve production efficiencies by reducing non-value added activities while ensuring quality requirements are met or exceeded
- Act as a liaison between production personnel, management, and other departments to ensure production and quality remains a top priority
- Follow instructions and procedures carefullyWhat do you bring?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience required.
- Experience in administrative or similar role 1+ year(s) required
- 3+ years experience in manufacturing, in a similar capacity is preferred.
- Experience in Aerospace, Automotive or similar industry preferred
- Strong computer skills, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, proven oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently with a customer-focused attitude.
- Maintain high attendance standards.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and involvement
- Ability to work in an organized, detailed manner under limited time frames.

Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
